Pretty sure there are multiple waves because they're still accepting applicants. Financial aid officer I spoke to seemed to indicate that they have at least two

Good to know, thanks. I'll just save the wallowing for later if it's warranted, then!

+2! Congrats to you both!!! Do you think you're going to accept?
Thank you! And as a public interest person yes unless the lower T6 I've been crushing on helps out with money significantly more than I'm expecting them to

Congrats to you both! Do either of you know what the fees part of "tuition and fees" includes? Trying to get a better sense of the total award since they don't specify an amount beyond "tuition and fees."

I was estimating it at about 190k over the three years based on tuition+general fee+technical fee, or what the website breaks out as the 'Academic Subtotal'. It could not include that technical fee or include additional fees, but seemed like a good estimate. https://www.law.upenn.edu/admissions/fi ... pplicants/

Random question. I know UR2 is a date change at penn, but what exactly does it mean? Is it just that your app is now being read by a second member of the admissions committee, and does anyone ever go straight fro UR1 to reject/WL?

I hope we hear back about more of the named merit scholarships this week! I'm kind of surprised they didn't send out Levy and Wilson scholarships together.

So, I just checked my status checker and it says, "Nomination for Silverman/Rodin Scholarship Email." But I checked my email for the day it said it sent and I never received that email. Did that happen to anyone else? Is there something you need to do in regards to that scholarship nomination?

That sucks. There was an essay required but the deadline already passed. Maybe they'll extend it for you if you explain the situation

Oh no! I'll send them an email. That really stinks because I'm really considering Penn...

Does everyone get invited to apply to the toll public interest scholarship? I didn't apply because I am not interested in pursuing public interest. Hope they do not think that I am and are not considering me for other scholarships.

Thanks! The more I have thought about it, the more I have become interested in Penn. Really excited to see the school and check out Philly. Since I am going to try to work in NY Big Law, it might be nice to not live in NYC for the 3 years before then.

No Wilson notification but also no Wilson ding (yet) soooo. I'm anxious. I really want Penn to be an option.
