Waitlisted, is there any hope at this point? The admissions website does not seem that helpful or encouraging.

So sorry to hear that! Mind sharing your dates (when you went complete and when they sent the ding)? Also, did they send it by snail mail, email or did they update the status checker?shotgunheist wrote:Dinged... expected wl

I was impressed, but my main concern is scholarship. Do we know if ND has negotiated much this year?

I was really impressed with the building itself. I visited Michigan, and actually thought the ND's actual law school building was better. The ASW itself was good, and Jake Baska was very personable. We discussed some scholarship stuff and he does a very good job of making it clear he caresGitaroo_Dude wrote:Sooooo, anyone have impressions from this weekend?

Gorgeous campus. I loved the speakers on Saturday. Class went as expected. People seemed very friendly and intelligent. 95% sure I'm committingGitaroo_Dude wrote:Sooooo, anyone have impressions from this weekend?

Above both medians, 5 points above LSAT median, waitlisted. I guess it's true what they say about applying late.
Not really that upset. Really didn't want to go to a school that conservative anyway but my mom wanted me to get in.

Yeah I did the optional essay "Why NdLS?". They just didn't want me. It's fine. I didn't want them anymoreJD_Kingfish wrote:That's a really good lsat tho. Maybe YP? Got decision made today, but there were no other changes to the page and they said that they mailed my decision and wouldn't be sending me an email or giving me a call. Does this mean WL most likely?

Anyone hear back about scholarship negotiation yet? Looks like this is about the time people started hearing back last year.

Nothing yet. Their initial response said they would be "mindful" of my other seat deposit deadlines (one of which is tomorrow). I submitted my appeal form about two weeks ago, FWIW.texas95 wrote:Anyone hear back about scholarship negotiation yet? Looks like this is about the time people started hearing back last year.

FYI--I just got a VERY slight scholarship bump from ND (I requested an increase about 2 weeks ago). It's really not much, but it feels good to have some success! PM me if you want to know the exact details.

Also just got a very slight scholarship bump. Not surprised, the only higher peer offer I had was Wash U, and they definitely know that Wash U throws money at high LSAT splitters like myself. $ is $ though.
Also, for anyone who is wondering - there's no way the ND COA on their website is anywhere close to what you'd spend. It's a severe overestimate. You can get rent there for 400-500 a mo easily if you live off campus, and easily live off $600 a month for food. just an FYI.

Just wondering if anyone has any insight as to whether surviving the ding/WL waves the past two weeks is a good sign for my app or if it means nothing. I'm either UR2 or UR3 since 3/14
