Everything about Berkeley is so unpredictable haha. In the c/o 2018 thread people were finding out in late October, last year it was around this time, and this year nothing yet!!

Did anyone apply for BLOS? If so, how long were your essays?

I saw a few other people also went under review on 11/16. Any guesses as to what that means re:decision date?

If you checked the box for BLOS, then you're supposed to attach an essay. I'd consider emailing Berkeley's admissions ASAP with the essay attached saying that you mistakenly submitted the application without it. I don't know if that will help, but it might.

Finally checking in! Took me awhile to create a longer statement and a why berkeley.

Applied last year, but have gotten a lot of new stuff. Hoping for the best!

I was just thinking, on my socioeconomic questionnaire I completed it fully except for the last question when it asks for parents income because I don't know it and my parents aren't too keen to tell me. Do you think that looks weird? Did anyone do anything similar?

Yup. No admits yet on law school numbers. Last year they started admitting ppl in early November so hopefully we see some movement this week

I (and a few other people I saw on here) went under review on 11/16. So it's definitely not loud on the Western front, but hopefully it means Berkeley will start making some decisions soon.

Anyone else have trouble with their status checker today? For some reason it's not recognizing my username. I've had no trouble logging in in the past.

Berkeley is my super-reach dream school. I wrote my PS with Dean Tom's TLS interview in mind, and was editing down to get 4 pages. This was before I learned about their 3.5ish GPA floor...

I gave it everything I have... here's hoping I get waitlisted- I'll retake in Feb and see if I can boost my shot.
