Maybe adcomms have overestimated the strength of applications this cycle and will be forced to admit a larger percentage of WL candidates relative to other years.

Might withdraw, I feel like I rather attend NU if anything.

If I really got WL at Michigan with above median stats, I hope that means I'll get good news from NYU

Hopefully. However, both the September and the December LSAT scores + corresponding statistical data have been out in the wild for a very long time now. What else is left to overestimate at this point other than some desperate hope in February scores? I would think all schools now have a very good idea of their applicant pools.whodareswins wrote:Maybe adcomms have overestimated the strength of applications this cycle and will be forced to admit a larger percentage of WL candidates relative to other years.

What is this "getting back fast" you speak of? I know not of this.

Waitlisted also, applied right before thanksgiving, above both 75ths. No why mich. Can't be salty, I think the adcoms and I both understood that I wasn't that into it. Good luck everyone that survived today's bloodbath!

Waitlist via email. I had a 165/3.74 so that's definitely a statistically good outcome for me. I gave it everything I had - ED, why Michigan, etc. so it's good to at least not be outright rejected.

If your personal statement was as obnoxious as your posts on reddit and on the spivey thread are, I'd say it's well-deserved.

Waitlisted with 3.6x/168. Michigan was my top choice in terms of where I expected to have a chance of getting in. Strong personal statement, interesting background, genuine why Michigan letter centered on faculty members and my interest in a specific area of law. This sucks. I really wanted to go.
