Nope! I have some other really great options, but I've had a long waitlist streak for the past three weeks and this broke itKeilz wrote:Congratulations!! Is this your first acceptance?EWofNell wrote:ACCEPTED TODAY AFTER INTERVIEW YESTERDAY!!!!!

It may just me and my highly unscientific analysis of annecdata but, it sure looks like UVA held onto its reverse splitters and is just now accepting them. Interesting if true.
A lot of regular splitters seem to have been accepted early, and now the reverse splitters are being brought in later in the cycle to bring balance to the class. Wonder what's driving this...

Re: UVA c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
This is slightly surprising (and I'm a little biased beause I'm a regular splitter still waiting on a decision from them) because of how LSAT scores are down around the country. You would think that schools like UVA would be placing more value on people with higher LSAT scores later in their cycle, but maybe they accepted enough splitters early on that they think their median/75th will be high enough anyway.ponderingmeerkat wrote:It may just me and my highly unscientific analysis of annecdata but, it sure looks like UVA held onto its reverse splitters and is just now accepting them. Hi! I applied in Jan. and haven't heard back. I was wondering if an interview is a prerequiste to be admitted? Thanks!

how quickly would I hear about money if they're going to offer some? I would imagine chances are slim at this point but just wondering. would like to try to negotiate just a tiny bit with another T13 offer I have. Sticker might be hard to justify so even a little bit of money could help me decision greatly.

Scholarship (if any) should be available to see on their SIS portal, and should come with your acceptance packet at this point of the cycleEWofNell wrote:how quickly would I hear about money if they're going to offer some? Okay thanks! I was admitted friday morning but didn't receive my acceptance packet yet. Does that come by snail mail?mrgstephe wrote:Scholarship (if any) should be available to see on their SIS portal, and should come with your acceptance packet at this point of the cycleEWofNell wrote:how quickly would I hear about money if they're going to offer some? +1, same boat. I was considering sending in an LOCI pretty soon with a job update, not sure if it's worth it because I'm expecting the WL/ding now that it's been so damn long.cb10 wrote:Hi! UR1 1/6, UR2 3/27, just below both medians. Ready for that WL!

I think the usual order for an acceptance is UR1 -> UR2 -> interview -> acceptance. But chances aren't looking good at this late stage in the game.Nightwing wrote:Is UR2 without an interview request a bad sign?goldenbear2020 wrote:UR1 1/6, UR2 3/27, just below both medians. Ready for that WL!

I got in with a scholarship this late in cycle. Pretty stoked.
Still weighing it against full offers from other schools (non T14 - UVA was the only one I was considering and only one I applied to). It'll be a tough decision.

Still haven't heard, went UR2 without an interview on 3/24. Probably a bad sign.

Re: UVA c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
I just recently started a new "Leadership Position" with and extracurricular group I put on my resume.
Is it worth it to send in an updated resume with just that update if my main goal is to remind them that I exist?
Should I kind of write an LOCI in the email I send with it?
Still UR1 since mid December, residency form didn't help.

Still UR from 10/27 and I've been accepted to two of CCN since then. Honestly... my app had to have just been stuck under a pile and forgotten about right?

Yeah... I guess I'll go ahead and send one in. Kicking myself for not doing it months ago but I kept expecting a waitlist to come and that I would send it then.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
