Also, I was a business major and am currently a financial analyst, so Doctoroff looks legit.

Good luck! Doctoroff is great for a business focus. I had a business background and wished I did it.

Thanks! And I have a question - I forgot to put the hours per week for activities on my resume (as is requested on the application). I later emailed Chicago about this with an attached resume. They said thanks as a response. This won't be a deal-breaker, right? I failed to follow directions, so my transmitted resume won't be exactly formatted how they requested. I am probably overreacting?

You're fine :D. I won't speak for admissions but I didn't follow directions and here I am so you should be good to go.

Just submitted the app! Had to wait until yesterday to get paid and didn't get off until 10, that was one miserable shift haha.

New poll up, let me know if anyone has ideas for what they'd like to see in the future.

how different are employment outcomes/opporunities at Chicago from Harvard? I doubt sticker price at H is better than $$ at UChi but idk.

We send more people to big law. If that's what you want, you should come here given sticker at H and $$ at Chi. That being said not everyone goes big law and you can certainly go other places, but it's pretty easy to do (something like >75% of our class).

If I'm gunning for money at Chicago, is it worth it to write a Why Chicago letter?

If you've got a good, legitimate reason, I'd say go for it. It can't really hurt, but it could help.

So, if they already sent me a fee waiver code on request, and I just got that unsolicited fee waiver email too, should I expect a check in the mail for $75?

Also received a fee waiver!

Speaking of money, does anyone know the status of the Rubenstein for C/O 2020? Chicago's webpage about the Ruby only mentions that the gift funds through C/O 2019.

There's no way in hell I'd get it, but thinking more broadly, I wonder what kind of implications that would have on the overall pool of money available for applicants this year. Anyone have some insight here?

If the code is transferable I'd Venmo you $10 :D

No to the last three posts (too lazy to quote) - sorry I don't know more about the Ruby.

That is an impressive level of laziness there my friend.

Does anyone know what the deal is with the question asking what othe schools I'm applying to?

Would it look bad to leave it blank?

Would it be okay to answer because all the schools I'm applying to are columbia and the ones ranked lower than Uchi?

I can understand why cornell would want people to tell them, since a lot of people who are overqualified blanket the t14 and apply to cornell, but it doesn't make as much sense for uchi.

Just be honest. That's the ethically correct thing to do and it's not a big deal anyway.
