I don't think you can do the app until you have an LSAT score.call-me-bubbles wrote:Anyone else having trouble with the "Standardized Tests" portion of the application? It says to enter any previous or planned LSAT takes, and since I'm taking next month, I'm trying to enter that. Without a score, though, it doesn't seem to want to go through.
I believe this is the case. You can apply as long as you have a LSAT score, so if you are retaking you can list a future LSAT, but I think you need at least one score on file to submit.proteinshake wrote:I don't think you can do the app until you have an LSAT score.call-me-bubbles wrote:Anyone else having trouble with the "Standardized Tests" portion of the application? call the school or LSAC, they're usually quick.call-me-bubbles wrote:Right. I already have one LSAT score entered, but I'm retaking in September. I'm trying to list the retake, but it won't save; I keep getting an error message.
Hmm, that's weird. I just tried to enter in a new date and was able to for September and December 2016. Maybe its something else on that page.call-me-bubbles wrote:Right. Personal choice. You can always call or send an email or list in the app that you're taking a future one. They might consider it and wait on a decision. They might not. Applying after September isn't late though - I'd hold off.proteinshake wrote:so I have an LSAT score that's between the 25th and median (retaking in September). should I wait until after my September score to submit the app? or is there a way to apply and ask them to not make a decision until they have at least considered my September score? thanks!
cool, I'll just wait till October then. thanks!KMart wrote:Personal choice. You can always call or send an email or list in the app that you're taking a future one. I just saw this too. It really does look interesting, but I can't seem to find much on itTexasENG wrote:Anyone applying for the Doctoroff Leadership Program? Looks like it would be interesting.
Doctoroff is great if you know you want to be doing something in business - they have a lot of networking events and other stuff geared to getting your foot in the door. I'm not in it but I know the people who are in it generally enjoyed it and their summers looked kickass. If you're sold on business/transactional, I'd try for it.Dr.Degrees_Cr.Cash wrote:I just saw this too. If you have the time and a genuine interest it's worth a shot. If you're too busy then don't sweat it; plenty of people can do transactional stuff after/during law school without Doctoroff.proteinshake wrote:I would apply but I have 0 business experience and it says its preferred
where do Doctoroff grads go if not Biglaw?KMart wrote:If you have the time and a genuine interest it's worth a shot. no point for any T6 schools, they know they're awesome. MAYBE if you have some super special reason.RamTitan wrote:Would you attach a "why Chicago" essay as an optional addendum?
Yeah, you have to attach a suped up why x for doctor off, otherwise I wouldn't do it unless you have a really good reason.proteinshake wrote:no point for any T6 schools, they know they're awesome.
