Sorry if I'm being dense here, but does the 2 or 3 refer to the number of times your "status as of" date has been updated? For example, my status as of date is 04/17; if previously it was 04/12, would that mean I'm UR >2?

Re: Chicago C/O 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
The initial date would be UR1 then every subsequent change would progress to the next number. If you haven't been tracking it since the beginning it is impossible to tell. But in all likelihood you are UR 3 like the rest of us, I had those same 2 date changes as well.

Curses! I'll continue to hold out some form of hope, but as others have said just having a decision becomes preferable at some point; I've don't know how well my poor heart can handle another degree of uncertainty.

What day did y'all submit your scholarship review form? I got an email from Kevin Petty last week telling me that the scholarship committee is reviewing my form, but they won't have a decision for me by the April 15th deadline that I gave, now I'm just really anxious because I decided not to deposit at the school I got a full ride at.call-me-bubbles wrote:Nope, but same.argos93 wrote:Anyone hear on scholarship negotiations? starting to get anxious since most school deposit deadlines have passed.

Huh, I never received an email that they were reviewing -- but my closest deadline is on the 21st. I submitted 2 weeks ago.j.chvd wrote:What day did y'all submit your scholarship review form? Literally going to deposit the second I get my reconsideration form back.. Just don't wanna 'shoot myself in the foot' prior to that.call-me-bubbles wrote:I hear you. I'm in a similar situation and had to decline the scholarship offer last week. I submitted my form on March 31st, but, like other posters here, I also never got an email back. I would call that school and ask them to reconsider and ask to deposit there immediately. Then I would wait for UChi's response.j.chvd wrote:What day did y'all submit your scholarship review form? It's not really cool to blow a deadline like that, and I'm sorry it happened to you. I hope it works out and that, if it's reasonable, we see you in the fall

search this thread. There is a list of interview questions somewhere. A few one offs might be asked, but they are a good starttartan2016 wrote:Was the interview pretty standard if you don't mind my asking? Well...
Glass half empty: I would be very disappointed.
Glass half full: My mom would probably be thrilled, because she's made no efforts to hide the fact that she doesn't want me to move to Chicago haha.

Re: Chicago C/O 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
I applied very late, right before the deadline, went complete 3/15 and UR1 today. Is it possible to go from UR1 to acceptance relatively soon? If it doesn't come in the next week with $ up front, I'm not sure I'd even be able to consider them.
Does Chicago ever admit people and offer $ at the same time, without financial aid paperwork? If not, I doubt I could really do anything with their acceptance, since I'm in the thick of scholarship negotiations at two schools and I doubt I could get Chicago's financial aid paperwork done AND get a response from them by the end of next week.

Re: Chicago C/O 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
Highly unlikely, especially since they would almost certainly want to interview you before admitting you. IDK about fin aid. There's a chance things might go a bit faster for you since you're at the tail end of applicants, but at the same time it could still take over a month (I went complete mid Feb and went UR1 3/1..I've been among those getting date changes with no interview so I'm expecting a ding this week or so)MrJD2020 wrote:I applied very late, right before the deadline, went complete 3/15 and UR1 today. It is. In my hometown, a mere 3 hours hours south, it is currently 81. Here it is 49.MrJD2020 wrote:Hmph. Which day of the week does Chicago tend to send ding waves and waitlist waves? Is there a pattern?
