So no one has been ding-ed yet? So the rest should all be WL and Dings, I assume. But the upside is, if you are not dinged, you are probably hearing from them within two weeks after their May 1 deposit deadline. So cheer up!

If NYU doesn't give me a decision this week I will make their decision for them
Anyone have a copy of the rejection email they send out?

Still 10/31, but I'm sure tomorrow they'll get started. Praying for a WL and not a ding!jjcorvino wrote:UR1 12/2 SMHmeeseeks wrote:Still UR 12/20. What the damn hell.

I mean there have been *some* rejections just not very many... Ugh going on LSN makes my stomach hurt. Some people rejected with my numbers and some accepted

Honestly don't care anymore because NYU has forced me to treat this like a WL and make other plans.

Interesting. I have nothing substantial beyond that to offer; while I feel we've passed the point of no return so to speak (as in, there won't be any additional pre-WL acceptances), I don't know whether we can trust prior patterns.MoonyUpToNoGood wrote:Bit of lurker here. the only thing that we can count on is that NYU is really, really bad at this whole admissions thing.
Also, what are your stats?

Re: NYU c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
not sure. a 179, 3.62 got waitlisted last year so I don't believe in justice anymore.
but I can say for sure after browsing last year's thread that most if not all of the people waitlisted had had no date changes for a while (give or take at least a month) before finally going DLS with a new date. on that date - and after hours of frantically trying to access ASW - they got emails that they were waitlisted.
I don't know, I'm honestly inclined to think that if your date changed today you're not totally fucked?

I think they are playing some kind of game with the upcoming deposit deadlines; I think there could be more straight admits.
