Well I haven't spoken to him since last summer, so I'm not sure about job search, but he was super passionate about immigration law. His summer internship this past year was in LA, but I'm not sure with whom/what he was doing (I saw him at a wedding, so not a ton of time to catch up). But when I send him a shout out I'll update here!
