If you know that you are not going to NYU, now would be a wonderful time to withdraw.
Shake the adcom up a bit and they may feel the need to make more offers hehe I don't know just speculating.

Re: NYU c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
thank you! people might be hanging onto NYU for scholarship negotiation with CC or even P but I think by now you really should just withdraw if you know you aren't going. It's unfair to everybody else.jessmeesh wrote:SybillAnnDorsett wrote:If you know that you are not going to NYU, now would be a wonderful time to withdraw.

I know that NYU doesn't review Les Waitlisted-erables until May, but whatever - that doesn't also render it incumbent upon people to hold seats until the eleventh hour. I'm sure that the committee appreciates a bit of foresight prior to May regardless.

If our UR status doesn't change today, does this mean we shouldn't expect good news tomorrow? UR2 since 2/24 here.

Hey folks,
RTK interviews are just around the corner. If you have any questions or concerns about the process, or tips, just PM me or quote me here and I'll try to reply by Thursday.
To those headed to WL land, hang in there!

I've been UR2 since January 9th, and my UR1 date was 11/16.... Did NYU put anyone else on the waitlist yet? I think at this point that might be my best outcome

I hate how NYU is my first choice and they make a lot of people wait this long lol. Ugh, dreading next cycle. Don't worry, you'll get that acceptance soon!SybillAnnDorsett wrote:10/31/2016 will haunt me forever.

They pretty much cared only about the LSAT, if you take a look at LSN & the doomed late waiters sheet.

Lol, you're so right. To be fair though, I know other schools like Penn, Mich, and Berkeley really take a look at your entire app. There was a non-URM who got in with a 161 to Penn, RD. What's the lowest LSAT score NYU has taken, non-URM?SybillAnnDorsett wrote:They pretty much cared only about the LSAT, if you take a look at LSN & the doomed late waiters sheet.

I'm rooting for you, you've been waiting for this way too long. Did you have a change in UR dates recently?Keilz wrote:If I went DLS tomorrow it would literally be a five year goal/dream completed/come true
Also, anyone know when the deposit deadline is? The one positive of getting notified late is that waitlisted applicants will only have to wait a few weeks until they start taking people off.

Thanks! Good luck to you as well and very true about the late waitlist. Cannot believe we're almost at that point already haha.StopLawying wrote:I'm rooting for you, you've been waiting for this way too long. Haven't had any date changes. I think the deposit is may 1.

Bed-time wish: Dear NYU law school, please let me in tomorrow. MyLSN says you're my numerical soulmate of the T13 and my prospects otherwise are looking grim, but an NYU acceptance would turn this frown upside down. I still believe.
