What could they possibly be waiting for? like everyone left has to be a WL or maybe late-complete ding? Are they admitting anyone else..Mr. Meeseeks wrote:What a jokejessmeesh wrote:ZVBXRPL wrote:I called. Decisions should come by end of month.

How are we supposed to react if we get a late April acceptance? LSAC should standardize deposit dates. Anyone know why they haven't?lilitiger99 wrote:What could they possibly be waiting for? like everyone left has to be a WL or maybe late-complete ding? I really want this, and would be willing to lobby for it in person. I'm caught in this right now.guybourdin wrote:How are we supposed to react if we get a late April acceptance? Maybe they're like Yale and have a handful of WL and almost WL left and will then release a few dings off that and some WLs. I can't imagine they'd really admit someone that late, though my friend does say she got in last May... It doesn't make sense. Unless they really are that disorganized.Keilz wrote:I really want this, and would be willing to lobby for it in person. And your friend wasn't admitted off the waitlist?

No. I think she had a last minute app since she took February LSAT, and ended up at a T13 - not NYU, but she told me she did get in May no WL...jessmeesh wrote:lilitiger99 wrote: Maybe they're like Yale and have a handful of WL and almost WL left and will then release a few dings off that and some WLs. Is there some ranking-related detriment to them waitlisting people?lilitiger99 wrote:Maybe they're like Yale and have a handful of WL and almost WL left and will then release a few dings off that and some WLs. Y rejected and I wasn't considering west coast. not that it matters but I'm genuinely just curious.
regardless I do feel like this is the ding/wl week. finally.
CONGRATS ON CLS!
Guess you're withdrawing from NYU hehe omg who said that???
Fuck em!!! But I'm still waiting and haven't committed...
They are the worst... not nice
Anyone have any idea how many slots NYU has left? Like how indicative is the radio silence ????

Judging just on previous years patterns, I'm fairly certain they just have waitlist left.Benzmeister wrote:Y rejected and I wasn't considering west coast. Re: NYU c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
yeah, I second this. I don't know why they would have ASD and still have admits left, unless it was some strange case like super late applicant with great stats or something.Keilz wrote:Judging just on previous years patterns, I'm fairly certain they just have waitlist left.Benzmeister wrote:Y rejected and I wasn't considering west coast. Can we all just take a moment to discuss what on earth is NYU's motivation for keeping us all hanging? I don't understand-- if they're going to WL or reject all of us FOR GOD'S SAKE WHAT IS THE POINT OF KEEPING US ALL WAITING UNTIL THE END OF FREAKING APRIL? It just looks SOOOOOOO bad on them. It's not like they're going to be admitting us at this point SO WHY???!???
*I have finals and I am stressed and I hate NYU but I still want them so bad :'(
