So many. Kindly create a flowchart similar to the one in the What are my chances?
If only I knew photoshop. My big thing this year was finally learning how to convert to pdf.

If you withdraw from a school with scholarship $$ what happens to that $? Does it go to another student? WL admits? Not get used at all?

As far as I know schools typically award several multiples of their actual scholarship budget, knowing that many of those students won't attend. In that case, the money offer usually wouldn't be reallocated.

Yeah it depends on how the yield shakes out.
Named scholarships get re-given out pretty quickly though because those funds are endowed separately and don't come from the general scholarship budget iirc. So like if all the Ruby's turn it down, they'd just pick new Ruby's.

That's why a lot of these awards have earlier dates to accept by.

hmm ok I was just wondering cuz I'm trying to decide if it's even worth staying on WLs for. the answer is probably no

Hey, you never know! Not likely to get money, but you're not forced to accept the offer if it comes.

Some schools do give money off of the WL, and since I think you want WUSTL, I would recommend riding it out either way
Yeah I will probably ride it out just for the sake of knowing what happens (b/c I could never actually afford to attend any of my WL schools with minimal $). Very envious of the peeps who are done with their cycle

lol I never noticed. That is crazy though, especially since Mike is probably capable of getting into the 170s

yeah that's pretty ridiculous- I think of Mike as a person that can reliably hit 175 each time he takes the test.
