Jeeves, just a suggestion but you might ask in the mod thread to have this moved over to the Applications subforum. We had a similar thread last year and it helped to have all the applicant threads in one place!

That said, it's your year! You guys do you!

I've done some searching and haven't quite found this answered. Looking at where I'm going to apply I am either just at or a very close to a GPA median, say, .01, .02, or .03 below the median. Does this really matter all that much or when people say median GPA is there a range this usually includes, like +/- .05?

I think even schools that try to "hold" their GPA medians are OK with fluctuations of +/- .02 ish from year to year. In that approximate range you can think of yourself as being essentially at median. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here though.

That sounds reasonable. Comparing years I see variance, but usually no higher than +/- .05. +/- .02 seems to be a common scenario though. Thank you!

I'm struggling with mine right now. I dunno how I'm supposed to whittle it down to 2 pages when I'm so interesting!

I've got a first draft. I'll probably play with it for 30 minutes everyday until August 15

I've got an intro and conclusion but putting flesh on bones is going to be a royal pain in the ass. I'm a much better story teller than a "talk about myself-er".

Foolproof plan is to bust out a bottle of oak-y Chardonnay and allow the creativity to flow this evening.

Oh...one more thing...does anyone have their LORs in yet? My boss was supposed to finish his up two weeks ago but it hasn't hit LSAC yet. Anyone know if this is normal?

do you know if he submitted it to LSAC? i dont think there would be a 2 week time delay between it being submitted and it showing up on LSAC
