Re: Stanford Law Waitlist c/o 2019
Waitlisted! I can't believe I even got this far. Given that I will be attending a school on the east coast if I do not get in, the longest I will wait is mid-July. At that point I need to sign a lease, but if I do somehow get in, I will absolutely attend Stanford!

Checking in too! I'm itching to sign a lease on the east coast, but I have to give this a shot first. Solidarity and good luck everyone!

Checking in for now, though most likely will check back out in a week when I forget to send in the WL confirmation form.

I got an email about housing from Dean Deal with 72 people cc'd. I'm not sure how to interpret it, but perhaps only 72 people committed to S by the deadline.

LOCI sent.
Going to stay on until the end, but it'll be tougher to say yes if they don't give me an answer until after I've found housing elsewhere

Would we just email admissions a LOCI?

Checking in.
After going through last year's WL thread it seems that the SLS fb group is a pretty good tracker of how many spots open up since people leave/are eventually kicked out if they haven't committed.
That being said, any admit kind enough to help us keep track and throw out the current number of members?

Currently at 252. I don't know that I would put all that much stock in these numbers though (I was originally Class of 2018 and deferred, and I'm still in that FB group too).

Has anyone who's sent in their WL form received a response? Sent mine in over a week ago, and they typically respond to emails pretty promptly. Wondering if they got it or if I should call to make sure...

I simply emailed them saying I accepted a place on the waitlist (didn't send the form), and they confirmed my place.

I thought we were supposed to mail our waitlist form through snail mail...? Was email okay as well?

I think both work. Like I said, I didn't send the form, just emailed them saying I would like to accept my place on the waitlist.minionsunite wrote:I thought we were supposed to mail our waitlist form through snail mail...? Was email okay as well?
