Hey middleawkward123 did you ever try negotiating scholarship increases with other schools using your Hastings offer? My letter also said "confidential" and I'm not sure if I can use this or not. Thanks!middleawkward123 wrote:Jan 5 Completed.
Feb 8 Accepted.
I had not received a bump on my scholly. Via email. I got the package after a few days.
I mean they said the offer was made on individual basis and therefore confidential. Please refrain from telling others. So I guess, I can still let other schools know how much I got and from where... right?

Re: Hastings C/O 2019 Applicants
Just as an update for those who are trying to negotiate scholarship money - Hastings got back to me after my first negotiation attempt and did increase my offer by a small amount. It still really isn't enough for me to change my mind, especially since I have already made a deposit elsewhere and the SF COL is insane.
(I would get in to specific amounts, but in the initial scholarship offer it said the information is confidential... PM me if you're really interested.)

Got a bump in my scholly too. Waitlisted notification today. Anyone planning on visiting the campus or trying to get off the waitlist?

Re: Hastings C/O 2019 Applicants
I was waitlisted in February and I visited a few weeks ago. Definitely worth it to sit in on a class and get a feel for the dynamic and students! I had a great impression overall.pattycake121 wrote:Waitlisted notification today. Anyone planning on visiting the campus or trying to get off the waitlist?
Also, when I checked in at the admissions office I met the Assistant Dean and he actually asked for the spelling of my last name so he could make a note on my file. So it definitely sounds like something they like to see.

What time were you notified and when did you submit? I'm still awaiting my decision.

Congrats to everyone who got in today. I got nothing in my inbox, but I checked my status and it said "decision rendered" which probably means denied since I didn't hear from them. Good luck to all those waitingmr. nj wrote:What time were you notified and when did you submit? I'm still awaiting my decision.

Check your spam box! A lot of applicants had their decisions sent into the spam folder.CAgirl123 wrote:Congrats to everyone who got in today. I'm not sure if they've gone into WL review but has anyone successfully been admitted from the WL with an LOCI and a campus visit? I'm contemplating taking a day trip to the Bay Area to visit Hastings.
