Thanks for any advice you might have for me.

I'll be there. Driving in from SA about mid-day. I'm in a similar situation with my office's casual Friday, but I was just gonna suck it up and bring some slacks and a button down. Maybe I'll see you there.

UH put up employment stats for 2015 recently: https://www.law.uh.edu/career/employmen ... 202015.pdf
Big law looks about the same with most of the 101+ and 250+ attorney jobs shifting to the 501+, but even with a smaller graduating class overall employment seems to have gone down.

Did anyone else attend the ASD on the 9th? That was probably the best event I've been to and helped me finally break the tie in my choices.
Just put down the deposit and will be there in the Fall!

Good choice. The staff here is super supportive. And more supportive than I felt like the staff were at the other schools I visited.TexasHays wrote:Did anyone else attend the ASD on the 9th? That was probably the best event I've been to and helped me finally break the tie in my choices.

It says that all decisions will be made by mid-May. I've been under review since the 7th, but my date changed on the 12th. Not sure what I should be expecting at this point.pflemin wrote:What were your stats, if you don't mind me asking? Don't mind sharing at all, 153, 3.7. I'm not URM, but not white either, don't know how much that is worth mentioning.

Does anyone know if they are still awarding scholarships? I couldn't find anything on their website for a deadline, applied last week for part time.

I created a thread for Houston in the Class of 2019 forum so those of us accepted can talk about all of that without interrupting those with admissions questions.

So is anyone else still waiting on a decision of some sort? I applied pretty late to the PT program and haven't heard anything yet, and haven't seen a lot of activity here in a while.

Congrats to everyone who has been accepted, and best of luck to everyone still waiting to hear back!
I am a c/o 2020 applicant and know I probably shouldn't be posting on here, but can you all shed some light on what LSAT score I may need to get into U of H law? Here are my current stats:
-Master's degree from Texas A&M University (College Station, Texas)
-Bachelor's in Business Administration from Texas A&M International University (Laredo, Texas)
-Undergrad GPA: 3.38
-Master's GPA: 3.7
-URM (Hispanic Mexican-American)
- 3 years professional work experience
-Internship projects
I've been busting my ass studying since February, currently enrolled in 7sage and will take a prep course with Powerscore in the summer.
Thanks in advance!
