Seriously! Throttle back and try to be patient, or accept the fact that Georgetown may not want to give you a scholarship.Alive97 wrote:The entitlement meter is filling up a little bit in here.

Anyone else get put on a "special group" within their Preferred Waiting List?
Sounds like YP to me.

To those who have withdrawn - thank you!
I've convinced myself I'm in, so have begun to look at flights to DC to visit. Good luck everybody else still waiting. They're keeping us this long because they've obviously saved the best for last! #PositiveVibes

The thought of that terrifies me.AfrocentricAsian wrote:AfrocentricAsian wrote:Lol i think georgetown lost my app. O well.
Did you hear back from the above lucky accepted person about when they went complete/ stats etc?
I have friends who applied later than me, and have been rejected/waitlisted. I can only imagine we're here as a sort of preferred preferred waitlist.

Has anyone who was priority waitlisted heard anything? Not expecting anything, but wondered if there's any hope.

When I was in DC a few weeks I dropped by the admissions office and was told that they probably won't begin letting people in off the preferred waitlist until early May because they're doing quite well with their deposits this year

How is the "special group" different from the priority waitlist? Much appreciated!

I was actually told the opposite of this by Dean Cornblatt at the NYC interview last week. He said they were a bit behind last year for deposit and that people on the waitlist could hear any time, but most likely starting the week after deposits are due.

I don't have any info as to when my application was completed. It just says application complete. But there are no status changes and no URs either... anyone in the same boat??

Re: Georgetown C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
Georgetown doesn't really update their status checker. You'll find out your status via email (wait list/rejection) or snailmail/phone call (acceptance) . Or, you can obsessively check your status on the ASW. If you're accepted, you'll be able to generate a login. If you have been wait listed, denied, or have not been decided upon yet, you won't be able to generate a logindayanam wrote:I don't have any info as to when my application was completed.
