Just got put on reserve. I am surprised I didn't get auto dinged since my LSAT was below their 25th and my GPA is non-valid.

I am postponing this year anyway so I'll probably withdraw, but it was still nice to not get outright rejected.

Anybody on reserve/accepted off reserve visit the school? I was put on reserve early February, GPA < 25 and LSAT @ 75. I'm visiting in mid-April to emphasize my interest and hoping the 1500+ mile trek will give me an edge or even put me in the running for a scholly off the waitlist... Would appreciate any/all pointers!

See if you can schedule an appointment with Dean Ingram. Then, follow up with a thank you email directly to her. If Cornell is your top choice, make it clear that it is both during your visit and in your follow up email.

Thank you!! Possibly stupid question: to schedule the meeting should I email her directly or the admissions office? Emailing her sounds pushy.

Has anyone tried to negotiating scholarships with Cornell yet? If so, what's the process with them? Thanks!

Submitted early Jan, ready for review since 2/3. Wish they would just reject me already so I don't have to check the status checker every day.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
