Re: Stanford C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016 cycle)
But it would be an email from STANFORD....slippin_jimmy wrote:When you realize you're about to pay $155 for the privilege of an e-mail with the words 'LOL NO'
Ya, Stanford and Yale are the two schools where I'm pretty sure I'm not getting in. But I would love to go to Stanford. I went to the trouble of making this thread just so I could list it on my Stanford resume...

It's not dead, it's just....napping...Hildegard15 wrote:This thread is dead. I shall try and resurrect it a little like I've attempted in the Harvard and Yale threads. Does anyone know anything about where Stanford is located? Is it the middle of nowhere? I know as the West Coast person on this forum I should probably be the one answering this but I know next to nothing about Cali.

Re: Stanford C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016 cycle)
I'm going to make one unambiguous statement. If you post in this thread, you WILL get into Stanford. I've got it on good authority that the dean of admission logs every person on here to see their amount of posting and relative lurking.Hildegard15 wrote:I suppose it is Stanford's fault since it's such a reach for 99% of applicants (including myself). No use in expending energy on the thread when you're just gonna get frosty silence followed by a no.Dcc617 wrote:

Your previous posts please the deans, Hilde. They are very pleased indeed.

Does anyone have any poll ideas? I'm not changing this one until I get 30 votes, but I'd like some ideas to kick around before then.

Checking in, despite having no chance. Worth a shot, I guess?

Yep, that's a good one. I'll put it up once I hit 30 votes, or give up on ever reaching 30 votes.Hildegard15 wrote:What else could you buy with the $155 you're spending on a Stanford rejection email?Dcc617 wrote:Does anyone have any poll ideas? NEVER! I will NEVER do that! Never ever!Hildegard15 wrote:You may have to follow Salander's lead on the Yale thread and just give up hope of hitting 30 votes.Dcc617 wrote:Come on people. I hate my old poll now, and I'm ready for a new one. But nobody wants to vote...
Actually, I might do that later today.
