Thanks for the reply. But I think I'm going to call them tomorrow though. Looking at past year's threads there was one instance where a person's materials didn't get through. Not getting a confirmation into June is a bit absurd, and if I potentially annoy them, so be it. Also, if people who've submitted confirmations after me have been getting their confirmations, it's less likely that I'm just stuck in the queue of stuff they need to send out.

Call. I just checked and they did not have my wait list form. So I re-sent it.

Yeah I just checked as well and resent. They got neither my waitlist confirmation nor my LOCI. Kind of sucks that they actively discourage you from confirming these things, and it turned out that I was completely left out from their application considerations for an entire month because they never processed my WL form and LOCI.

Got an email early this morning with my waitlist confirmation, unprompted.

Has there been any WL movement this year? As far as I can tell the window is mostly over, since most movement is supposed to be in early to mid May.

Sorry for the long hiatus from TLS and the lack of new polls at the end! :( For anyone who cares, I was (incredibly) lucky enough to be admitted to Yale, and have committed. TLS was a huge help! I'm eager to pay it forward, so for anyone who will be applying, please don't hesitate to reach out.

The following may sound kinda sketch, but my friend got a snapchat from his friend last night saying that she got in off the waitlist after 3 months. It seems like at least they're letting some people in off the waitlist. Just wanted to share some hope with you all.

I was just on the verge of removing myself from the wait list, and then I saw this. Not sure if this means they'll be taking more people, but now I'm inclined to wait a bit more.

One (male) person, so probably not the one mentioned by goldescholes?

Yale is #1 in clerkship but curiously lacks behind other top schools for biglaw. On a similar note, UC Irvine is #2 in clerkship but lacks severely behind other tier 1 schools. What to make of this?

The Yale aspect of this has been discussed pretty heavily on this site. The answer is that so much of Yale's student population self-selects out of big law and attends with no intention of ever entering big law, shooting rather for some of the more unicorn jobs. And because those jobs, on balance, tend to be more accessible from Yale you see the big law numbers drop accordingly. It's not that it's harder to get big law from Yale, just that not as much of the class actually wants it. If you want big law from Yale, you'll likely get it. However, a lot of people (myself included) would argue that if that is your goal going in your much better taking $ at CCN.
