Checking in, Sent in LOCI, and probably going to be sending in some additional LOR's.

Not that I have anything to do with it, but I did call the admissions office to ask them whether doing precisely that would help, and she clearly said that it would not. But if you think that it will, then I wish you the best of luck!!

If my memory serves me well, last year's RG thread didn't see much movement at all, while in the 2016 thread there was about 2-4 people who reported (or who were reported) to have made it off the waitlist. So...

Did she say anything else about it? Like why it wouldn't or what would?
She just said they'll have your score with the rest of your file, since LSAC is definitely going to send it in. But she said that it wouldn't affect this year's prospects. I then asked whether that meant that it wouldn't matter whether I take it or not, and she said, no it wouldn't. That was basically it. I'd call the admissions office myself to double check. After all, this is just what some random person (i.e., myself) on a forum reported.

The last couple of years' threads have reported second and third reserve groups, which would mean that they do, yes.

How can you tell what level you are on?

This is purely based on TLS past years' threads:

Right now, we're all on 1st reserve. During the summer months, (I expect) Columbia sends an email asking whether we would want to stay on the reserve group. If we elect to stay, then that would be the second reserve, and so on.

Any one received a letter to encourage we send LOCI?
Just received one and I am quite confused.
I've attached mine to Columbia LOCI system but still got one.
Not sure if it's common or my LOCI is lost so they sent that letter.

I think it's a generic email/LOCI reminder...I'm held, got the same email, and sent in my LOCI via email and received confirmation of receipt from them.

That's weird because I sent them a LOCI as well, got the confirmation email, but didn't receive this one. I wonder why they extended the deadline though.

I got reserved on Mar. 13...

International applicant, 168+S. I know my chance is reaaaally dim but I haven't completely given up my hope yet (while hoping other schools get me admitted =.=)
Actually I have been wondering why cls hasn't rejected me outright. My stats are not as impressive and my experience is generic as well.

Would take LSAT again if got rejected from all of the schools. Cls I love still.

Hey guys,

I'm new to this. Got reserved on March 12th. I haven't received a LOCI reminder though and now I'm a bit concerned.
Should I call and ask about it?

I didn't get one either and didn't think anything of it until you just posted this...does now LOCI reminder mean that they've pretty much already decided no go? Or maybe it's just directed at YP WLers...
But they wouldn't treat people on the watlist differently would they?
