edit: I just had one UR for NYU too
The UR part doesn't change but the date does. You go UR almost immediately after submission.
To budge in and clarify as a rowdy newcomer, though, I only had one UR date for NYU and got admitted straight afterward. Meaning, I went UR one day after submission (12/19), the status checker date did not change at all until 01/07, which is the day that I got the DLS state update. I checked on 01/06 and the status was still "Under Review 12/19," and I remember thinking 'okay, they are still stuck,' so I am certain about this :). Low 170's/4.0X.

I'm sure someone has done the research.
This would be very helpful. As well as when people are typically pulled off.

same except with Columbia? Submitted about a week ago and haven't received a status checker, just the email saying they've received my info and my app is complete.

I submitted mid november and have heard back from 6 schools. How late should we expect answers till :/ Still waiting from UPenn, Cornell, Berkley, Vandy, and others.
I am at some UR dates with them but I keep getting skipped over during the sweeps, at least I have not been dinged but I am hoping to hear back soon so I can buy tickets over spring break to visit schools.

I'm in the same boat and I submitted at the end of October.

I was looking at T14 scholarships for the other thread, so I figured I may as well note how they went out for this thread. this is based on last cycle for the most part though, so some might change. I underlined the ones that are based on this cycle.

Columbia: Mail. Hamilton/Butler (full/half tuition) included with initial acceptance letter
Chicago: Email
NYU: Email. Vanderbilt (full tuition) via mail
Penn: Email
Berkeley: Email
UVA: Mail. Dillard (full tuition) sometimes given via phone call
Michigan: Email
Duke: Mail (status checker shows mailing date). Mordecai (full tuition) via phone call
Northwestern: Email
Cornell: Mail. Charles Evans Hughes (full tuition) via status checker/email with acceptance.
Georgetown: Email

I don't know what YP means, but I was admitted to Cornell without interviewing and my numbers are slightly borderline (GPA 75th percentile, LSAT 25th percentile). I also checked my status about a week before being admitted and it was still at the application received or complete stage, I forget what exact working was used.

Does anyone know how long NYU and Penn apps are "under review" before decisions are made? I'm under review at both, since 1/26 at Penn and 1/5 at NYU, and would really love to be accepted to either. My cycle is going well but NYU is my dream school and Penn is... Penn.
