Apparently another wave of decisions went out on 1/2/15... Still no movement here... 13 weeks and counting >.<

Accepted RD on 1/2/15 via email. Does anyone know how their scholarships work? When do they start releasing those decisions?

Condolences and congrats!
I think there was something in the 2014 app cycle thread regarding scholarship announcement dates.

Looks like historically UW has sent decisions on Fridays. Hoping to hear back today, in review since 12/19. Surprised at how little action this thread gets, but good luck everyone! Looks like a lot of folks are still waiting to hear back.

I'm hoping the same. Does anyone know if Washington YP? I'm above their stats, but I am a WA resident.

From LSN, it doesn't appear so, other than a few waitlists that look a bit suspect but there's not enough that those couldn't be chalked up to a problem with the application. I'd imagine your residency will help if they were worried about you looking elsewhere.UOI4430 wrote:I'm hoping the same. Does anyone know if Washington YP? When did you apply? I wouldn't worry though, they were slower then most comparable schools getting back to me. I'm above their stats and a WA resident as wellUOI4430 wrote:I'm hoping the same. Does anyone know if Washington YP? I'm above their stats, but I am a WA resident.

I applied in mid-December. So you were accepted? Congrats. Are you a UW student by chance?huskies2015 wrote:When did you apply? Yes I am. Hoping to be a double dawg. It all depends on money though because I've got a full ride to a T20 and it would be tough to justify staying here and paying when I could go to a somewhat higher ranked school and be debt free. Are you at UW right now as well?UOI4430 wrote:I applied in mid-December. So you were accepted? Congrats. Are you a UW student by chance?huskies2015 wrote:When did you apply? And yeah, I was accepted. Applied early October and wasn't accepted until mid-December.UOI4430 wrote:I applied in mid-December. So you were accepted? Congrats. No, I go to EWU. I'm in almost the same position with regards to UW. I would love to go there, but I have good money (not full) to a couple t-20s.

Re: University of Washington c/o 2018 (2014-2015)
Hahaha how you liking LSAC's .14 down adjustment for EWU grads? That cut the honor roll off my applications. I'm forever grateful. I'm choosing to blame that for my having been in review since 11/15. Please no one dispel my delusions.
Also, did you break the curve for EWU or what to get those offers? I thought Eastern grads were lucky to spell their names right on the LSAT. Figured I'd be one of about three with legal aspirations who could get outta Spokane and away from Gonzaga. Then again I graduated in '12 so its past time for the next three to have their shot...

Another self hating eagle lol. I'm not sure what you mean by the .14 down adjustment. Also I'm uncertain what "break[ing] the curve" means in this context. Maybe you can PM me about these issues. I was above the 75th on GPA and LSAT for the t-20s.sirstynkalot wrote:Hahaha how you liking LSAC's .14 down adjustment for EWU grads? That cut the honor roll off my applications. Re: University of Washington c/o 2018 (2014-2015)
nothing. I'm really disappointed it's taking them so long. There are hardly any decisions on LSN. Lots of the schools I'm above medians on seem to have made a point of accepting quickly and really working to sell what they have to offer. I feel like UW is missing that opportunity by holding us all forever, if, of course, they accept me. I'd love to live in Seattle, but have other offers rolling in (including full rides to schools ranked above them). They seem way behind compared to last year.
That said, it's Friday! Fingers crossed today.

Woo! In, too. 12/12 complete, 12/19 IR, above median LSAT, above 75% GPA.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
