Glad to see some interest so early!

Feel free to ask any questions you may have. I'm a C/O 2017 applicant and will answer what I know from myself, plus from what I've learned from some current 1Ls and other posters on here.

Best of luck! Hook 'em!

I'd also recommend looking at past year's LSN data as UT seems to have been more splitter friendly this year than in the past when they seemed to prefer GPA.

IDK about you, but the football gets me even more motivated! If I got accepted to UT, im pretty sure I'd take it beyond any shadow of a doubt haha. It would be a dream come true.

With the new way UT does football with the Big Ticket you can get a group going. We have about 100 1Ls in a group that will have a section reserved for us :D

Plus Austin is literally the most fun city in the US. So much to do. This thread has inspired me to study for the Sep LSAT two hours earlier today lol

I'm currently a D2 football player, so a school where I can get my football fix is a major plus!

That's not UT's stadium right? Looks more like the cotton bowl during a UT/OU game.

Although I am pretty bummed that Mr. Cigarroa isn't allowing booze sales at football games yet. I was so excited!

Checking in!

I live in Austin currently and couldn't imagine it being any better of a place to live. Well... maybe - the traffic is HORRENDOUS - but other than that, this city is awesome.

Gotta kick it into gear for this Sept. LSAT.

Good luck everyone!

C/O 2018 applicant here with a 167 and a 3.63. Going into my senior year at Alabama, but I'm a native Texan through and through looking to come home.

Where ya from?

Also, how generous is UT usually with money? I know they have a matching policy. Have they raised their initial offers significantly to match? And when they do match, what do they base it on? Like would they match the $$ from like SMU because its geographic competition, or would they only do it to a school like Vandy, who is actual competition in the rankings

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
