As someone who grew up spending more time in Austin than anywhere else besides his hometown, it's a beautiful place. Oh, and btw... for those aesthetic folks like me... i was on the other side of the stadium facing the sunset (near 35 looking west towards campus) and saw a top 5 view in my entire life. the clocktower was in the foreground and in the background was a scattered cloud-pink sky-sunsetting-powerpoint looking background. Literally better than postcard material. It was fucking picturesque man. Awesome, awesome sight to see.
And I agree on the law school. It could use some touch-ups on the outside, but it's actually in pretty good shape on the inside. But, that's kind of the way UT is right now. The whole school (minus the stadium) is in need of a makeover.
