Checking in... worried about NU since I'm KJD but I'm hoping my three jobs plus class will help

I was KJD and had a promising NU cycle until I withdrew.xylocarp wrote:Checking in... worried about NU since I'm KJD but I'm hoping my three jobs plus class will help

GL all! NU class of 2017 about to start next month. If you have questions, please let me know via pm or otherwise. 2 pieces of advice re interview: prepare to speak about big projects that youve worked on in the past. Secondly, do some research about NU and develop a response to the inevitable"why nu?" question. Woohoo, applying to ls!

Hello NU larva! Feel free to come on over to the questions thread. We've got a healthy mix of grads, 3Ls, and 2Ls in there (and soon to be 1Ls, I'd guess!) who are happy to answer any questions you've got. Also, if you're as crazy as I was at this point, a solid hundred something pages to read through and learn things.

Anybody else really excited about the Interview? I think the interview could really help me out.

I'm the opposite, KJD, GPA is more impressive than LSAT. Have a little WE, but an interview will hopefully give me the opportunity to show that I am mature enough to fit in with a group of students that will be older than me.smccgrey wrote:Yeah I actually love interviewing! NU should be a great fit for me, just because I think I'm the typical Northwestern student - married, 3-4 years w/e, major splitter (assuming LSAT goes as well as PTs, obviously. Trying not to count my chickens...)

I'm about an hour and some change from Dallas. I hope they have somebody there that can do an interview. If not looks like i'll have a reason to hit up chi-town!xylocarp wrote: I also really like interviews and feel they could help me. I wonder if they'll have any in my area
