So when I called and spoke to Admissions last week they said that all Held Applicants would have a decision by the end of the month, has anyone else gotten this information?

Have you written LOCI?

It just seems like those of us who are held should know what the deal is by now.

Gaaaaaaah. They did this before the last wave of held admits too, and this seems like "We've decided we would admit you, but also want to yield protect, so we're asking if you'd accept before we extend an offer."

I didn't get this email, which makes me sad.

Get this!!! This guy thinks NU makes timetables and sticks to them! Good stuff...
I know they don't. The question was asked just to see if anyone else had heard something similar.

Did not write a LOCI nor a "Why Northwestern essay", but personal statement was targeted to Northwestern ("Why Northwestern" essay seemed redundant at that point) -

I'm 25th< LSAT<50th and right about median GPA

A little bit of jovial self-deprecation can go a long way in the pursuit of humility.

Did you see Ruddigore? Not a huge GaS fan, how'd you enjoy it though?

I don't hate them, but they definitely did go from my top choice to I'm just really not that into them anymore.
(which they will notice, since i didn't write any held essays and I will be rejected because stats.)
still want a final answer tho haha.

Yes I did! I love G&S so automatically a win for me, but also student productions are always a blast. And damn those kids are talented. The set design was Edward Gorey inspired and just gorgeous.

That sounds cool. Ruddigore is definitely underrated (My eyes are Fully Open, When the Night Wind Howls) - Pirates, Pinafore, and the Mikado are over-produced

It's weird that they're pulling from the WL while people are still held. Why not just inform held applicants already?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
