WUSTL
They use email first and foremost. Email is more current than the (mostly useless) status checker and they email you for acceptance, interview request, and scholarship offer. Casual phone interviews have been prevalent this cycle and are the usual step between complete and acceptance shortly after (1-2 weeks tops).
Status Checker Key:
"Application Documents Received" - very quickly, remained on this status longest.
"Complete" -varies (has been anywhere from a few days for early applicants to 2-3 weeks, mine went complete the day of the interview, 2 weeks after date submitted)
It still says Application Complete with my interview date about 3 weeks after my acceptance, probably doesn't update beyond that in real time.

Brilliant thread!
I wonder if everyone gets their Harvard decision the same day the status changes to decision rendered?

HLS has a "Decision Rendered"? I'm pretty sure that it just went to "Admitted" a few hours after the phone call (when the email came through). Maybe I missed something, but I'm a pretty religious status checker checker

Not sure how many people will need this one, but since you requested all schools here's CUNY:
Submitted 11/12
Complete 11/15
In review 12/9
Accepted 12/13 via status checker
Email 1 week later telling me to look at the status checker. Thought it was funny they didn't Say congrats in the email
Edit: almost forgot, snail mail congrats letter arrived same day as email.

While I have not (yet, oh god please) been accepted to Stanford, Palo Alto is a 650 area code and that is the code people in previous cycles have been called from. One of you lucky admits should confirm though.
The title of this thread is very deceptive but awesome I will definitely be checking back later!

Can anyone post one on Qunnipiac and University of Connecticut? At UConn, my application has been "complete" since 11/25, but still not under review and it's been over a month. My app at Qunni has been in review since 12/6

UConn: the message t the top says my app is under review, reviewed in order rec'd. status stays complete. Very little movement on LSN, looks like few decisions so far.abucking wrote:Can anyone post one on Qunnipiac and University of Connecticut? Quinnipiac put me in review after a day and I've been under review since 12/13. Someone from the school looked at my LinkedIn page, so it appears they have actually reviewed my file at some point.
That's all I know, hope it helps.
Edit: I applied for a deans fellows scholarship at QU so I don't know if that changes the time frame, or by how much.

Stanford acceptances are a call from a 650 number. May also be an email.
Last cycle, status checker to "Decision Letter sent" without a call was WL/Ding.

Thank you so much for responding. The snail's pace at UConn is killing me. Good luck with your scholly at QUPattyCake wrote:UConn: the message t the top says my app is under review, reviewed in order rec'd. status stays complete. Thanks! I hear you - I submitted almost all of my apps by 11/15 and I've only had two decisions so far. It seems like a lot of schools are very slow to make decisions this cycle. Fingers crossed, and good luck to you, tooabucking wrote:Thank you so much for responding. The snail's pace at UConn is killing me. Thanks for the thread!!
For Chicago, there are dates changes throughout the process. One when they invite you to interview, one after you complete the interview, and most people seem to be getting at least one more update afterwards. Also, they call for acceptance I believe, and email everything else.
