Hmmm I got an email that I don't understand--"Accelerated Early Decision." It says its binding and I get an answer back in 10 days. Is this Priority Track?? For some reason I didn't think it was binding. So maybe this is not PT.

Gonna wait to apply with all the rest of my schools.

We already had some people confused by this (myself included). Might wanna read up a few posts.

Yea my confusion is that they talk about "accelerated early decision" and then go on to talk about a "binding early decision" option which shows stronger interest. That plus the fact that I didn't think Duke did unsolicited waivers without it being PT, plus the PT emails going out now too. Soo confusing. But I'm still working and haven't been able to dig too far into it. In any case they would do well to be more clear!

PT or not, you still got the waiver. At the end of the day that's 70 bucks in your pocket, expedited review or not.

True, although I'd rather pay the $70 and get the expedited review! I was so excited too. Lame. I'm at or above 75th percentile on both LSAT and GPA, so I didn't think it would be too crazy for me to get PT. Duke why do you have to tease me like this?

Application is done and waiting for saturday to send it out. Does anyone have a realistic expectation for when the application will be "completed" (I assume this includes CAS materials) and the 10-day clock starts for PT application?

Just sent in my application through PT! Does the "hear back in 10 days" start next week, or will they not start reviewing any apps until late September- early October? Good luck y'all!

For those wondering about priority track- my LSAT/GPA are well into 75 percentile but I did select Duke under my LSAC choices, so that may be a factor. I am sure it also helps my undergrad and hometown are in the southeast as well!

My PT is also in. The 10-day clock should start as soon as they receive everything from CAS based on everything that I've read. Can't find anything definitive though

Also, looking at the decision date graph on page 1, it looks like they start sending admit decisions in September, so the clock should be starting now or very shortly.

My guess is clock starts Wednesday or Thursday. That LSAC email for confirming receipt of submitted application didn't say Duke retrieves apps electronically (unlike a few other schools), so assuming snail mail time of 1-2 days from PA to NC, week of 17th should bring out the first wave of decisions.

Now I'll be refreshing all day to see if I go complete so I can know when the clock starts

I received an email saying I had gone complete right after I received the first email. Status: File complete; ready for review, now just the torture of having an adrenaline rush every time my phone vibrates with a new email.

Why do you think your numbers are high enough for PT, but not high enough for admission? Am I missing something?
