I'm at that position where I would have gotten 120k... if I had applied last year. I'm hoping they don't have any inclination to try and move those medians up this year, because then I'm out.

I'm checking the e-mail daily.

From my cycle, different schools used different statuses as their "holding status". Some schools would keep you in review for 3 months, other schools would keep you at "incomplete" or "complete". Honestly, the status checker very well might not be reflective of your current status in application. IUB status checker is new this year, but last year I got "file is complete" email on 1/24 and received a package in the mail with acceptance and scholarship info on 1/28. So most likely, you're not incomplete; you're probably in review. There doesn't seem to be any universal approach toward statuses among all programs. Not sure if this provides any comfort, or just more frustration, but I hope comfort.
This provides me comfort.

Do you think this is maybe a yield protection thing? I know some were talking about a smaller class size... but they can't get that much smaller. Hopefully they will be as generous as last year.

I don't see evidence that IUB did this last year so I would be surprised if they would start this year. There weren't weird outliers on LSN from the 2011 class that couldn't be more easily explained by application date. YP tends to happen more when schools have a very reasonable expectation that an applicant wouldn't attend if accepted (e.g., a 171/3.8 applicant applying to the Hollywood Upstairs School of Law PT program) But I think IUB can reel in very numerically qualified applicants because of their plentiful scholarships, so I don't see IUB YP-ing people.

I see no reason to think that their approach to scholarship money will change to this year, but I'm only basing this on their willingness to defer a bunch of people from last year to this year with money and the ridiculous endowment they got from maurer.

Finally went complete. Hopefully we'll see some action before Christmas.

Same status as mine. I think IUB just doesn't plan on sending out acceptances quite as fast as other schools.

Current 1L. This is accurate. ^

IUB is a fantastic school but they aren't known for their timely updates. You can call and they'll give you a quick, honest, answer but I think it was mid-summer before we had our reimbursement checks from SLD.

Hang in there guys.

So no one's heard anything yet???

Still waiting on my Dec. score myself, debating whether it would be worth it to send it before the score but it seems like it wouldn't make a huge difference.

My status changed today from "Incomplete" to "Complete - No Decision Yet". Sent my app 10/28.

I had a status change today to "File Complete - In Review." Previously, my status was only "File Complete." Before that, I was "Incomplete."

I submitted the first week of November and finally went complete two days ago. Hopefully, they decide soon.

Ditto, good to see status checker is working. Make it rain IUB, make it rain.

I submitted my application on 11/3, and I'm still sitting at "Incomplete File - Being Processed". Is this delay standard for UIB this cycle?

Guess so.
I submitted mine on 11/1 and it still remains at "incomplete file ~~". so I emailed the school in the last week of November but still no reply

I don't know if the delay is standard, but I submitted 11/11 didn't get status tracker till 11/28 and I'm still on 'incomplete file-being processed' too...so its not unique.....people have mentioned that they don't respond to emails very frequently, but they do answer questions over the phone.

+1

Went complete - no decision yet on 12/15, complete - in review 12/16. Hoping to hear something this week.

Me neither, Fark-o-vision. I have been getting the "Indiana Law Annotated" every few weeks since summer, but nothing on next year. They told me I'd start hearing from them in December, I'm not too worried yet.

Admitted Via Email. I am receiving 30k to be divided evenly amongst my 3 years.
167/3.6
Good luck to everyone.

Congrats! It doesn't look like they are being nearly as lenient with funds this year though. Last year those numbers would equate to a nearly full ride.
