Currently on the WL...

It says you can send in additional materials "such as," a two page essay on a topic of your choice, updated resume/transcript, AND/OR one (no more than that) LOR.

= you can send in both an LOCI and essay.

There is no second deposit. Just the one deadline that passed on May 1st.

There is no second deposit. Just the one deadline that passed on May 1st.

Someone last year got accepted in late August, a week after they were already in class at a different school.

Thanks! I think I'm attending Penn. I am choosing between there and NYU, and as a business major, the ability to take courses at Wharton is a very strong motivator to attend Penn.

For those interested I received a call gauging interest earlier this week. They said there were making multiple offers so I think there is definitely hope.

Taking classes at Wharton would definitely be awesome and why I'm so interested in Penn.

Stalking your posts and you have a 171/3.8. Not sure why you were WLed, but you probably just barely missed the initial cut for outright acceptance. Congratulations!
