Waitlisted at UVA, Vandy, and Notre Dame. LOCIs sent to all. Really hoping to get into a top 20, as it seems like the top 20 get national recognition in the job market, whereas top 30 get top regional recognition, but not quite national (I still love you, GWU. I can't wait to visit you).

I'm taking the Feb LSAT, and thus far Waitlisted at a few top 20. Should I wait until my Feb LSAT score is out for LOCI or should I do it now? I mean, most schools dont start rejecting/accepting people from the waitlist until April. So why the rush? Also, I'm thinking of having someone important that wrote me a letter of recommendation give them a call, so I dont want to space out all my ammo, and just throw everything i got at them in 2-3 weeks after my LSAT score comes out.

What's a better strategy? If any?

Do it now and mention that you're taking the Feb LSAT.

+1, and notify any schools pending that you're retaking.
