Hello, everyone! OCI is coming and I am nervous and exciting. I come from a lower T14 law school and end up with a 3.5 + GPA, which is in dean’s list.I also have a PhD in social sciences from the United States. As an international student from Asia, visa sponsorship matters to me. My first priority is to get a summer associate position in corporate law from a big law firm. My geographical preferences are NY, Chicago and California ( in this order). Can you give me some feedback on my bidding list? Particularly, is my bidding too aggressive? Thank you so much and good luck with OCI, folks!

The list looks good, do you have bidding stats? My worry would be that some are oversubscribed.

I also don't know about including Irell, they have really high GPA requirements since they axed most of the firm to focus more on patent litigation boutique-type stuff. It is probably not where you should target for corporate law.

But that is nitpick-y, it is a good list overall.
