emory: 158

well... considering that this database needs to be updated every couple of years or so to be relevant.

I think it's likely that URM admits may reduce their average LSAT. 158 seems really low considering their 25% percentile is at 162, which would mean they would have to accept some applicants with very low scores. Are you sure you're reading it correctly?

I think this means that, of undergraduates at Emory who take the LSAT, the average score is 158. The average (and the median) of students at Emory Law School will be higher than this.

Is this average on all score reports? Including non-disclosed tests? Wanna know where I stand with respect to other Michigan grads.

sorry for the ambiguity. Yeah, the 158 is the average in Emory UG.

There's a whole thread on this already compiled. I'm too lazy to find it, but it's there.

but are you sure it's not your 160 (if you get in) that would be lowering their average? i didn't know white males were considered an urm...lets not assume

That one is not up to date, though. Marquette has gone from 151 to 153.

Yeah I was going to ask if this fluctuates from year to year.

If I get my goal score, I beat the average from my UG woohoo!

wow pomona college really stepped up on this one, impressive. Though I would sort of expect better from my UG. The lowest score ive heard from my UG is 5 points above what this list claims to be the average. I am sure that my sampling isnt accurate, but i would expect it to be a few points higher.

That list was made earlier this cycle...but if you want to update it, go ahead. But it might be more useful if you added to the previously existing thread rather than create a new one here, so people don't need to guess which one is more recent.

150 is not the nationwide average score. It used to be the median (i.e. 50th percentile) score. Recently, the median has risen to around 151.5.

Some of these numbers are outdated though.

I think the median is actually about 152, but in any case the people on this board tend to have gone to better undergrads than the general test taking population. So the schools they report on will have a higher LSAT average.
