The Official February 2018 Waiters Thread
Welcome and please follow the rules regarding questions per TLS! Good luck to all future law students. I’m looking forward to a spirited next couple weeks on here. Polls will periodically change to keep it fresh.

Checking in. Are we allowed to theorize which was the experimental section?
Also I didn't realize how much taking an disclosed test would mess with me. There are a few questions that I really, really, really, want to see if I got correct.

Yeah you can discuss generalizations and question overall theme but not specifics about what it was asking or rules/questions.
Th real LG had to do with an upper and lower lecture hall and a game about Econ classes and their pre requisites
The real RC has a passage about trees being felled by beavers/insects benefiting from it, also had a passage about the length of copyright laws in books.

Also, fun test moderator stories are encouraged...
We had a bathroom break after the beginning paperwork and the first section! That was amazing.
Also heard a lot of people trying to get a 140 so they could get in to their “school of choice” because “it doesn’t matter as long as you have that piece of paper.”

Where's the best place to post missed connections?
Mr. blonde-haired Houstonian talking about your 175 practice tests, and bitching about the $30 parking fee, you were adorkable

We had a “captain” at UF. Gorgeous girl sitting in the front and center of everyone. There were like 5 of us that were super chatty, I’m sure everyone else was annoyed at our excitement

How are you able to tell which was experimental and which was real?
Also I didn't finish the very last question on my first LG set and for some reason didn't fill in a random circle. I kept debating on sneaking in a random guess but my stupid conscience got the best of me. I hope I'm rewarded with some good mojo on the rest of the test because of this..

Any insight on the experimental LR? I’m guessing one of the two 25 question sections to make it a nice 101. Also my administration had to stop after the first section because the proctors started the test randomly without going through the whole “bubble in your name on the answer sheet” spiel so that was neat. They did apologize for the inconvenience though so what can you do

for me 1 and 4 were the 25 questioners which is fine because I stared at question one of the whole test for about 3 minutes just generally questioning wtf I was doing and section 4 there were two back to back questions that gave me issue....wish I could remember anything bout the questions themeselves but IT WAS A BLURBartlet4President wrote:I’m in the same boat... no clue 1 & 3 were 25 q LR

I had
LG 23
LR 25
LG 23
RC 27
LR 25.
First section of games I didn't get to the last set.
Second of games, the last 2 games were so weird and were about who goes where, (it had 3 layers each) it totally threw me off. The rules so awkward and frustrating.

I had one LG section that had the thieve/museum question.
But lord, I had RC last and that passage about lying and democracy I could NOT get my head around! I basically gave up and guessed as I ran out of time, any one else struggle with that? Please help console me

I got:

I personally think LGs are comparable in terms of difficulty to the December one, so I'm feeling a -12 curve (Although curve doesn't matter for Feb LSAT I guess)

If you had the weird sequencing game about the museum I can confirm that was the real logic games section. Felt poorly for me on this test. M average across 20 PTs was 176 and for this I’d be shocked if I get above a 175 or above. Forgot to bubble in an answer choice on RC and I thought the LR sections were hard in an unusual way. At least for me, it felt like there were more questions that were harder earlier on than there usually are. I.E the nuclear one the ideological media one and the Japanese bell one. Also think the garden seed one got me too.

Are there any people who were going for a 174+ On here? If so how did you feel?

I'm hoping for slightly below that range. (170-173ish). I thought the exam went fine. A few quirky questions that I was hesitant about. There was one for the 'hall' LG question that threw me for a loop. Thought about it for a good 5 minutes to not much avail.

@casskow12 YES!! I agree with feeling as though there were more difficult questions in the beginning of the LR sections. I was used to , and I guess counting on, doing the first 10 fairly quickly and without too much trouble. But there were quite a few that I found really difficult, threw me off a bit.
