The July 2018 LSAT will NOT be disclosed

Post by DKilloranPowerScore » Fri Jan 26, 2018 2:58 pm

I just got confirmation directly from LSAC that the newly added July 23rd, 2018 LSAT will NOT be disclosed. So, it will be like the previous February administrations, meaning you only get your score back. You do not see the test, the scale, or your answers. It doesn't mean it's any harder than other LSATs, but you don't get the satisfaction (dissatisfaction?) of seeing how you performed on each question or how the scale looked overall.

Why does LSAC not disclose certain tests?

So they have a bank of tests than can be reused for instances such as:
Lost tests
International Tests to prevent cheating via time difference
Administration on different days than the registered test

The process it takes to create a full LSAT is multiple years in the making and their ability to make new tests is constrained by the process.

Agree 100%. It's all about the time and cost of creation and then being able to reuse that test (thus saving time and money).

Interesting. That makes sense.
