just dont take it right before the real LSAT or your confidence will shoot way below a 120NotLawDog wrote:Now I'm weirdly excited to take it...chewinggum wrote:GrossMikey wrote: PT72 S4 G4
I read the passage first.ThaBlackLord wrote:Do you guys read the question first or the passage first in LR?
I know Blueprint and Kaplan advise to read the questions first, but what about Manhattan Prep, 7Sage and the LSAT Trainer?
I'm still trying to figure out what is the best strategy
try both. I do question stem first so I know exactly what kind of analysis I need to do before reading the stimulus. idk, that's just me thoThaBlackLord wrote:Do you guys read the question first or the passage first in LR?

I think it depends on the person. Previously, I would read the question stem first then the passage. However, I realized that the question stem makes me tunneled visioned. For instance, I'd read the question stem, then frantically try to predict the answers while reading the passage. This approach hurt my accuracy a bit, so I had to do away with it.ThaBlackLord wrote:Do you guys read the question first or the passage first in LR?

I'm pretty sure 7Sage goes right to the question stem. I prefer going to the question as the question type dictates how I am going to read the passage and what I have to focus on. It saves time. For instance, if I know it is an argument part question I am going to read the passage with a specific goal in mind. If the question is a main point question, I care less about weaknesses I see in the logic and more about argument structure. Just my two cents though, if you like reading the passage first, you do you!ThaBlackLord wrote:Do you guys read the question first or the passage first in LR?

I took my first PT today as a cold diagnostic and scored a 160. I am aiming for a 175-180. Good luck everyone! We can do this

Without too much detail I'm from the central part lol. I went to Dayton every summer though! I no longer live there but I think it's freezing everywhere right now.Alyssa92 wrote:Really?! You should just try to study 1 hour every single day if you can.olympia wrote:I woke up with another migraine, so all my study plans went out the window again . I finally get some time off of work, giving me time to study, and... nope.
