Cancel score or keep as a place holder ?

Post by mjb77 » Mon Dec 04, 2017 1:08 pm

I know I did poorly on the December exam. I only got to two logic games, and my nerves got the best of me. However, I want to apply to at least one top school. They're policy is that they'll take the February score for this cycle only if it's a retake and they already have a score on file. Should I keep my score as a place holder since I"m positive I can do better in February. I have no problem just applying and seeing what happens. If I get waitlisted or rejected due to the lack of space I may just wait to reapply for the next cycle. But will having that very poor score on file limit me in anyway?

Not for most schools. If you're trying for HYS, it might be an issue.
