Congrats! I just bought 7Sage's one-time edit. My wallet is crying.

I used 7Sage for my PS and it was a great experience! Mainly because my first draft (and by first I mean, like, 20th, but first I was willing to show even a stranger whose purpose in life is to help me make it not terrible) was awful and they put the trains back on the track with a little topic guidance.

Do I like my PS? Absolutely not, but I was never going to write something I was happy with even with infinite time and they said it was good. I feel a lot better having professional feedback telling me I'm probably gonna be fine.

Thank you so much for the reassurance. Seriously going to exist off of ramen for the next few months post-Christmas and application fees.

Did you get the unlimited version? I figured that even if I got two one-time edits it’d still be cheaper than the unlimited version. And I didn’t know really how many edits I would go through.

I'm done with my main essays. Just one last school specific one and I'm done with my competitive apps.

page count superstition was for the study group thread, not waiters.

Oh! I propose an additional tradition. ;)

My mom texted me saying she had a dream I got a perfect score. I have bad news for her.

Damn what happened
-Lack of professionalism. Lots of people using the “r” word and other derogatory language and discussing R rated stuff out loud.
-Lack of effort to help me learn/train me in their procedures how they operate.
-Complete lack of organization for their files. No pedigrees, time sheets, filling me in on emails. Files are one big mess with shit missing. I know real estate very well and can work independently without supervision, but not if there’s so much shit missing from a file and no online shared database with client info.
-15 mins from my house yet no parking. I paid $13 to park for one day...

Overall, I’m not happy and I can’t torture myself for the next 8 or so months before law school. Well see I’m gonna stick it out until I find something else hopefully.
That's such a problematic work environment ... :( Is this a small company? I.e. no HR hotline that you can reach out to? I know HR works to protect the company, but I feel like there's a lot of reputational risk here...

So we just got told at work today that our department is going to be bought out by a different company and they would take over as of June 1st. I think that is a pretty good excuse to leave and have 2+ months to chill before school starts. If they downsize I don't want to take a job from someone who actually needs it, and we have a lot of 1st gen immigrants that probably would not find much opportunity in the job market.

Just got an email from Columbia inviting me to apply it's not the first t13 to do so but this email emphasized that I was invited to apply and receiving a fee waiver based on my lsat alone. Do schools see our December score before we do? I just don't see them saying that about my previous 155 even if I'm an AA.

I don’t think they do and I doubt that all the scores have even been processed yet. I got the same email lol. I think they’re baiting us but I’ll take fee waiver.

I lol-ed at the fact they spent like paragraphs saying that THIS IN NO WAY MEANS YOU WILL GET IN.
