LR struggles - what's your story?

Post by Jdhoosier17 » Sun Oct 22, 2017 1:41 am

What were everyone's LR struggle and how did you overcome them?
Right now I am struggling with speed AND accuracy. I can't answer more than 21 questions in a section. If I'm not able to speed up I'd like to get 100% accuracy. Am I dreaming too big with this goal?

I dont think it's too big of a goal at all. Just keep practicing, and most importantly, learn the different type of question stems, and what kinds of answers to expect.. forwards, backwards,sideways... That the single biggest thing that's gonna increase your accuracy, and later on speed. You will recognize and be able to differentiate between what is important and what is not. When I initially started studying, I couldn't finish a section either and was getting about 10 wrong per LR section. Fast-forward 5 months or so and I always finish sections, and routinely go -2 to -3 on a LR section. Manhattan Prep's LR book is the best on the market in my opinion and was a huge contributing factor to me learning.
