September 2017 LSAT “Curve” Predictions

Post by Trsk345 » Sat Oct 07, 2017 7:21 pm

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to start a discussion about what you all think the “curve” for the September 2017 LSAT will be. Considering that June’s was a -9, I’m getting pretty nervous for what this one may be  . I thought one of the LRs was pretty tricky, and the judges passage was INSANE. Hoping for a -11 or -12... what do you guys think?

I think 9-10 is probably what it's gonna end up being, would really like it not to be -9

You really think -9?! I found the RC to be significantly more difficult than numerous other PTs I’ve taken and those were like all around -12. I mean the logic games was pretty straight forward but one of the LRs was also more tricky than usual... that’s what’s keeping my hopes up for -11 at least

My impression was -11 or even 12, but apparently I just sucked.

I think it will be -11. Unfortunately, the PowerScore ppl seem to bet on -10.

What were TLS folks saying after June? Were people pretty adamant it was a -9 or -10?

If not, then that doesn't inspire much confidence for these September predictions lol.

It'd be really cool if Logic Games wasn't such a massive factor in the curves.

When curves are harder because of LG, it kind messes up the top 3% more than anything.
