I would hate to take a full test on a tablet. December for sure is my last time then lmaooo fuck tablets

At least people may get scores back faster right? Assuming your answer input is on the tablet too?

Decided to withdraw from the retake.

My initial impulse to retake was based on anger at myself for not suffiiently establishing my mental endurance for the LSAT under test day conditions. The end result is during the second real LR my short term memory shut down and I ended up scoring by far the lowest I have ever done in LR post-diagnostic.

Then I realized that the point of the LSAT was to get accepted to law school. My score is sufficient to get accepted at some of my goal schools and since I'm Canadian I don't really have the financial incentive to try to retake as our schools are cheaper and generally don't offer huge scholarships.

I think I'll just do a maintenance routine for my LSAT skills of 1-2 hours a week and on the off chance I have an unsuccessful cycle this year I will retake next Sept.

Good bye and good luck in Dec you guise

Yeah u just click the answer and that counts no bubble sheet. And supposed to get scored right away/faster.

Also just confirmed I had the same LG as the Oct 14 take
Yeah that's the good part about it I guess.

I know last time the digital one was like PT73 or something so who knows about your other sections O_O how do u think u did, either way?

Not sure :/ we'll have to wait and see. Going to retake our sept test as a PT Monday so see if it was nerves or my understanding. I haven't checked which questions I got wrong/ or looked at the test at all.

Also my family is getting on my nerves about retaking :x
I checked a few things in LR but nothing that would dramatically inflate my score on it as a retake.

And how so? They want you to apply with what you have or?

I used to only use the Trainer, the Cambridge packets, and Graeme's blog/Manhattan LSAT forum - now I'm working with the Manhattan LSAT LR book and the Fox encyclopedia. I got -15 in total for both sections of LR so0o0o0o0 I need help. Drilling and intense reviewing for some reason wasn't helping and I feel like a failure. For what it's worth, I got the first 15 or so questions right for both sections but it all went downhill after that :/
Were there any specific question types that you noticed you got most of your questions wrong in? For me it was mostly weaken and NA questions

I wish I could be more help for LR, I was getting about -2 per LR in practice but ended up -5 and -6 in sept :(
I haven't done a more thorough look but it seemed to be kind of all over the place, and it was definitely in the second half of each section. Although, I thinkkkkkk strengthen/weaken/sufficient assumptions are definitely some of the questions i tend to get incorrect more often
I have a certain approach for strengthen and weaken questions that I learned from a 7sage webinar that really helped me out. It takes practice to get used to it since there are different things to know within the approach but it works. I can PM you the approaches if you want.

SA Qs i love but all I do is connect the premise with the conc, or do that but in contrapositive form. Don't know how much helped I'd be with those though.

Hey man, would you be able to share your secrets over here as well if it's not too much trouble? I struggle a bit with strengthen/weaken too. Thanks for being so generous!

Just curious what a good reading speed should be...
How fast can you guys read through RC? I'm mostly curious about your performance in a real-time test environment. Comparative Passage vs. single passages. Also, do you guys get through all the questions? How many are you unable to answer D:

Obviously still read for logical structure and that good stuff, but this is something that's been working for me more recently and has helped me to break into the 170s.
Oh no, you're back here too? :(

Jfc this test sucked.. Idk how so many people got those high scores but I'm super jealous
Yeah man, sadly! Don't think we'll ever get worse than Eileen Gray/lacquer so hopefully it's up from here.

Eileen gray sucked during the test but looking at it afterwards, it doesn't seem that bad!

Just took my first PT since September LSAT. It was rough. My PT average is a 168 and I hit 161  . After reviewing, every single question I got wrong in the LR sections had a correct AC that I was really drawn to. If I had trusted my instincts I would have gone -8 in the exam, a 174 on this particular PT (mostly of those losses come from LG, a separate issue). Obviously I can make substantial gains by improving LR, and it is historically my best section.

This is what kept me from consistently being in 170+ territory on my PTs. Anyone hit a similar roadblock/have tips or tricks to avoid over thinking LR/another section?

Just retook PT 82 (Sept 2017) as a PT in the same order, and experimental as same section as I had test day.
LR was harder than I remember it was lol, and RC still left me with 5 mins for the last passage. LG I think I did better (missed last question).

Someone who did well on the RC from this test explain how???? Eileen Gray > Judicial Candor any day of the week bb

Anyways, scored a 168 so I am obvs fucking up somewhere....

PT 82
LR -4
LG -0
EXP LR
LR -3
RC -6
-13
168

Edit: Also, when can I expect to see some question explanations ??? (On like Manhattan LSAT or elsewhere)
