I'm just glad I never went bigger than I did with my lobes tbh. I've abused tf out of them though so I don't think they will ever close completely but oh well it's the consequences I'm paying for. Loved them this whole time I had them tho so I don't regret SHIT!littlewing67 wrote:Professionalism is so wack cause I love tattoos and piercings but they aren’t acceptable unless hidden ):Mikey wrote:started downsizing my stretched ears today, sigh.
they aren't that big but I want to get rid of them anyways bc of law school, esp. if I do any interviews in a few months.
had them since high school, goodbye sweet babies </3
I want tats but I'm pussy. A sleeve would be ideal I just don't know what I'd get tho

Re: The Official December 2017 Study Group
The LSAT is a strange and inscrutable beast. I took the September LSAT, studied >30 hours a week for 6 months, was averaging around a 171, got a 168. Was pretty disappointed and slacked hard on studying for the December (<20 hours total over the last 8 weeks up to this point). Basically, I was burnt to a crisp. I took PT 69 yesterday, -2 raw, 180.
I'm honestly just confused about what to do over the next two weeks. I'm worried it's an extreme outlier, but also don't want to mess with a good thing and I want to keep a good state of mind. I think I'm just going to keep it chill and take just 2 PTs that I have left in the 70s and do some LGs. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Holy shit that sounds rough. Most of one section I've done in a row is 4 LR. I tried it for RC and couldn't do more than 3 lol. Do you feel like it's helping?littlewing67 wrote:Just did 5 RC sections as a PT.
PT 20 -1
PT 26 -0
PT 27 -2
PT 28 -2
PT 36 -4
For an average of 1.8
PT 36 has hard af science passage and liberal arts passage and I was getting fatigued but yeah. Lol I wish today's RC was the same as the earlier tests SMH.

Re: The Official December 2017 Study Group
If you can get 5 sections all at least -4 I think you're good. I'm a little worse at RC (-2 to -4 usually) but once I got under -4, I've been consistent on all the PTs. Idk I feel like RC is just once you find your feel for it you're alright.littlewing67 wrote:Honestly, I have no clue. For PTs I think it's helping, we'll see I'm taking a new one next Saturday to mock the real thing. But come test day watch me go -9. IDK where I go wrong. Blind reviewing it now. Kinda bears resemblance to Sep's LRbarcafan202 wrote:Just did PT 75. Anyone else feel the LR was worded strangely? Seemed like it was structured to be as convoluted as possible
LG was extremely easy though

Re: The Official December 2017 Study Group
I found the LR1 pretty normal, LR2 to be slightly more difficult, the LG hard under timed conditions but extremely easy upon review, and the RC difficult. For some reason I could just not focus during RC and it really hurt me. The 4th game from LG paralyzed me under timed conditions and I couldn't figure anything out. When I did the game again for BR I flew through it in about 7min which was incredibly frustrating.barcafan202 wrote:Just did PT 75. Anyone else feel the LR was worded strangely? Can't believe we only have two weeks left. From now until December 2nd, probably going to take two PT's a week, and review some LR/RC questions that I've missed in the past.urmlaw17 wrote:oh snap!

For the last game, I only had 5 min left and I had no time to diagram. I found it fairly easy to visualize without any prep because 3 of the 4 game pieces were heavily restricted + the consecutive placement rule

Taking PT 81 and hoping it doesn't wreck me like it did in June. Haven't seen the questions since I redid them in July when results were released so I don't really remember much aside from ORANGUTANS and ISOTOPES.
I'm still scared of this -9 curve because I'm averaging 10-11 wrong per test...

Orangutans Q I thought wasn't that bad honestly. I think that Q tho really makes use of the word 'most ' in the question stem. the isotopes Q I actually got right but spent like 2 go arounds on it for a total of like 3 or 4 mins lol. Process of elimination is the way to go for that one, imoExperiment626 wrote:Taking PT 81 and hoping it doesn't wreck me like it did in June. On my between section break. I got both right on the original test. I just remember how everyone was so triggered by those two in the waiter's thread.Mikey wrote:Orangutans Q I thought wasn't that bad honestly. About to actually start 81, first section was experimental, but I'm seriously afraid. I'm feeling sluggish in the brain this morning and I don't know why... I got like 7 hours of sleep..
Being really gay and practicing a stress/pressure management technique from my book and blasting Stonger by Kelly Clarkson to psych me up in the last few of my break. I know I can't play it at the actual test but I sure as hell can sing it in my head!

Anyone take PT 77 recently, or at least remember it? I took it today and underperformed. I found game 3 and 4 super hard for some reason -- I don't know if they were actually hard or if it was just my mindset. Then that pissed me off and I couldn't focus for the final LR section. Anyone struggle with the last 2 games on that test? I feel like I must have missed some key inferences or something. BRing tonight

Results are:
RC -3
LR -1
LG -0
176
BR
RC -0
LR -1
LG -0
180
Holy shit.... While I remembered like 3 answers across this test, I think I just got my revenge from it owning me for June... It actually felt a lot harder the second time around because I remembered question topics which made me want to not read as carefully so I had to force myself to read things again a lot. Kelly Clarkson and positive anthem reinforcement pressure management technique in between each section gets all the credit. I guess the final equalizer is when I take September 2017 next week...

Game 4 I didn’t find too bad, there are a couple inferences that can help you fly through that one.GnarMarBinx wrote:Anyone take PT 77 recently, or at least remember it? I skipped G3 and came back to it with like ~9 minutes remaining and kind of brute forced my way through it but I know I got a few wrong. That’s definitely one that burns time.

Re: The Official December 2017 Study Group
For anyone who’s taken the real LSAT:
Is the setup such that for RC for example, the passage and its accompanying questions are on the two facing pages? Like, you don’t have to turn the page to refer between the questions and the passage? Same for LG. Do you have to flip the page or are all the questions for a game and the game itself on two adjacent pages? Sorry if my questions are confusing. I’m just trying to ask if the real LSAT has the same page setup as the LSAT official preptests do. Thank you!

Hahaha I thought I was great at LG until that PT, but it’s understandable since games 3 and 4 are those miscellaneous game types that you can never really prepare for. Going to go over the 7sage explanation today. Need to work on not losing my cool whenever I see something crazy like that...GnarMarBinx wrote:Anyone take PT 77 recently, or at least remember it?
