Arrival time - June LSAT
Hi everyone ~ long time lurker, first time poster
What time are y'all arriving to the test center for the June LSAT? The reporting time is 12:30pm, but is this when the test starts or when we shoudl check in? Sorry for the anxiety...trying to balance out arriving early enough and not having to wait around too much and have my caffeine rush fizzle before starting

I was planning on arriving around 11? Not sure if that's TOO early, but I generally do like being early anyways and I'd like to try to settle my nerves before the test actually starts (lol fat chance).

I'm probably gonna get there around 11:00 to give myself some time to do some warmup sections. I'm assuming 12:30 is the check in time.

LOL you guys I plan on getting there at like 11:45. Wake up at 9, shower and have a good breakfast, drive 40 min with some wagner blasting in the car, and boom, get this thing over with.

12:30 report time means you have to be there by 12:30 or you don't get to take the test.
I'd advise shooting to get to your test center by 12:00 (or whatever buffer you need in case traffic is bad/accident/delays whatever really is typical for your area).
I would say that unless you know the test center well, I wouldn't show up too early and plan on being able to do warm up sections at the center. The two I've taken it at were both plastered with signs essentially saying that any test materials/practice materials were banned from the grounds. So, unless I want to do warmups in my car in the middle of June, I'll be doing my mental warmup at my house and then driving to the center.

I am getting there an hour before start time to get the best seat. Last time I took the test I had a small desk compared to others. Sigh

Do you actually get to choose your seat? When I took the Digital LSAT last week they assigned us seats. They had some kind of seating chart already created. Is that not what normally happens?calmike wrote:I am getting there an hour before start time to get the best seat. Last time I took the test I had a small desk compared to others. Sigh

I took the LSAT 2 years ago and I picked any seat. I went in to classroom when all students were sitting already. Not sure if there were assigned seats before I got there

Planning on getting there around 11:45ish. I'll probably do some warmups at home before heading out.

Shooting to arrive at 1130 ish. I'll do some warmups before leaving and then stop off at Starbucks to espresso up.

My coffee shits are pretty well timed, my drive to the center is about an hour and I'll probably drop one just after I get there.Platopus wrote:Be careful about getting those Covfefe shits halfway through the 3rd section tho!Slippin' Jimmy wrote:Shooting to arrive at 1130 ish. Re: Arrival time - June LSAT
I feel like that is much too early. I hear some testing centers don't have everyone checked in by 12:30. You wouldn't be starting the test until 1:00, but some centers can push it to 1:30, 2:00. So if you get there at 11:00 you are going to be sitting around for an hour and a half at the least. That seems like overkill to me.Amerision wrote:I was planning on arriving around 11? I plan on getting there by 11. I've heard parking can be a pain because of summer school where I'm located so giving plenty of time to find parking, walk to the building, do warmups, scarf down lunch, and get checked in.
