Decided to do timed drilling today. Went -0 on 2 LR sections, -3 on a LG section and -7 on RC. Still gloom about RC, but I've heard the Trainer works wonders so I ordered that today.

I'm always looking for ways to learn new angles to the RC section. Let us know how the Trainer goes! I only have the PowerScore RC Bible so far. I am only half way through it. It is good for what I paid for it (nothing). I would not drop the money on it brand new, though. I would just go read it at Barnes and Noble every few days for an hour or two.

Checking in! About 8 weeks into my studying, started with a timed diagnostic of 144, next practice test I got a 152, followed by a 154, and yesterday I got a 160! Still have about 8 more weeks of studying left so I'm feeling pretty psyched about finally hitting 160!

Just the LSAT trainer and the books with prep tests 29-72. Logic games is my weakest section so I made 3 copies of every game from prep test 7-45 and have just been going through them and then watching the 7sage video for that game right after. Still have a lot of work left but I'm feeling like I can maybe even score a 165 in September with the way I've been progressing so far.

This thread is massive! haha but a quick question for those who work full time and studying, do you wake up early and study or study after work? I usually study after work but I feel like I should start studying in the mornings to get a better idea of test day.

PT55 today, 174 (LR1: -1, RC2: -1, LR3: -1, LG4: -2, LGE: -0). Struggling to score well under timed conditions with fresh logic games. Went into the last game with 7:30 left for a game that 7Sage says should take 13 mins. Only missed one question, but I wasn't confident or smooth at all. Did a thorough BR of the LR and will probably go over the tougher questions again.

Still need to improve my logic games. Consistently going -0 would be a nice cushion come September. If anyone has any advice, it would be appreciated.

After work - I find the burden of waking myself up w/ tea and having breakfast etc too much of a time addition on my morning to make it worth it

After work usually. I head to the library right after and can get a solid two and half hours in before I have to hop on the train back home. I'm a night owl though so this works for me. My best friend studied first thing in the morning and that was best for her. I don't know what your hours are like, but if you have a regular 9-5 your body should be pretty okay for the most part, so at this point you just gotta do what works for you. I tried the morning thing but it didn't really work for me!

For the next 2 weeks I plan on doing 20 logic games, 40 LR problems, and a RC section a day. Hopefully I can start timing myself after that.

The earliest I ever study is about 11am, my brain is just not that active as soon as I wake up, which I definitely need to work on for test day. I study a lot after work as well, which is around 11pm

Beginning to get the hang of LG inferences...

How have people here gone about LR? I want to drill as I read through the Bible question types (similar to LG), but I don't know of any resource that classifies each and every question. Nor does it seem wise to just start drilling sections and improve as I learn more questions.... but now that I'm typing it, that doesn't sound too unreasonable. Any thoughts? Procrastinating my RC section of the day lol.

Finally going through the LR Bible. Went through some MSS drills and went 8/8. Small victory, but I'm still pretty happy, especially since MSS questions are my weakest. This time around, I'm trying to take as much time on each question to develop my accuracy. My thinking is that speed will come later, and at this point I should just focus on understanding each question's stimulus as much as possible, and why each correct answer is right (and why each incorrect answer is wrong).

Checking in. Currently at 165-167 and aiming to pull it up by 7-10 points over the next two months. I took an untimed PT (Dec '11) today and didn't fare any better than I do with timed tests (165). Anyone have a similar experience?

You need to improve your understanding of the test's content. Accuracy on untimed work should be very close to 100%. Good work so far, keep it up.

Powerscore's materials have LR by question type with lots of drills of groups of each question type from all different LSATs--I do not mean the Bibles but the books you get when you take the class which are different. I did not realize how valuable all those drills were until I took the LSAT for the second time in June. They even have obscure question types.

I really need to improve in each area, but LG is the most difficult. Every other section I can sort of scrap through, but LG is so hit or miss. Like -0 one game and -5 the next.

PT 42: 175 (BR: 180) LR: -4, LG: -0, RC - 2. Not really improving as I would like to in LR, was hoping to consistently hitting -0 at this point. Looked at some analytics and my worst question type is flaws. Going to crack open the Cambridge drill packs and hit Q's to try and improve a point or two.
