Another devastating and frustrating LR performance. Genuinely thought I did a bit better, and LR really held me back from breaking out of the low 170s.

For those of you who are successful at LR, do you think it is too late to go back and review some portions of the Bible? I'm beginning to feel a bit downtrodden about my lack of improvement. In fact, this is my worst LR performance overall since my first PT in May! It especially stung given how well RC and LG (made one mistake due to time) went today

The LR from PT 76 is hard - don't sweat it. Of course there is time to go back and review, but I would check out the LSAT Trainer or Manhattan LR. It gives a different perspective from the bibles' 'tricks'.

I might reschedule for December, but tomorrow is the deadline. I feel really underprepared.

I heard somewhere that some law schools take an average of all LSAT scores and some just consider the highest/most recent score?

I am an international applicant so the information I have access to is quite muddled. Could anybody offer clarity on this issue for me please?

most schools just care about your highest.

Yeah, and if your GPA is international Yale is likely out anyways. Not to be mean or anything, it's just statistically unlikely to happen

Which PTs have you taken from 72-80? This was my first of the bunch so I was definitely gunning for a nice score. I suppose that is some relief, but tomorrow will still be LR drilling again I have the MH LR book but have hardly used it, so maybe I'll break that out too

Yea, bust out Manhattan for sure - I like it better than PS. I have taken 70-74, 76, 77. If this is your first from the 70's, it may take you a PT to adjust to the subtle changes. I now prefer contemporary LR.

Is the Perfect Score watch good for September?

The consensus seems to be yes. Personally, I'm not going to use it because I'm concerned that proctors will be on the lookout for the MM/180 watches and will think that a Perfect Score is banned even if it isn't

Massive thanks to EDIT:Platopus! for suggesting three-day weekends in the weeks leading up to the test. Didn't do anything LSAT related on Sunday and just chilled, reading and listening to jazz most of the day. Considering lightening up on the studying so I can relax more like that on a daily basis.

Update: Necessary Assumption questions are no longer the death of me - Sufficient Assumptions are. I know this is all about conditional logic but I somehow still have a hard time breaking up the components in the stim :/

Its never too late. And I have been in a similar spot. Last PT my two LRs was -3 on the experimental, -4 for the first one and -1 on the second . Just continuously reviewing material and drilling is helping me slowly get more consistent in LR I feel like.

Not bad, but several points lower than average. A bit frustrated since I thought I tackled LR (consistently -0~-2 per section), which may not be the case. Glad to discover that grouping is my weakest in LG, which I haven't paid enough attention to before. I hope it's still not too late to drill them. I started from around PT 45 and have been writing in order, so I guess later ones are indeed more difficult.

BTW I highly recommend practicing with the 7sage proctor. This is the first time for me time with a non-electronic watch and totally simulate the test-day condition. Turns out that the 5-minute notice does have an effect, which hopefully I can get used to before test day. Needs to get familiar with the watch as well.

Ouch - across 7 PTs in the 60s and 70s now, I have yet to get sub -5 in RC. I did better on older RCs, and my average on single section RC is significantly better - so not sure what to make of this... harder new RCs or lack of concentration/focus?

Overall though my RC scores have just been ridiculously volatile. Unsure whether I should just continue to shore up LG/LR down the stretch or give RC a little more focus - seems like there's really nothing one can do to prep for RC besides cross your fingers and focus mind and body once shit's actually going down.

At least this RC section was objectively pretty difficult - but hard or not, a -9 is totally unacceptable. The difficult RC also makes me feel a little worse about my LR sections, as they must have been relatively easy. But on the bright side, the -0 on LG was a relief... and my first couple of 5-section PTs have now gone 165-166-167-169.
