Re: The Official September 2017 Study Group
For those of y'all that work/go to school full time, what are your plans for the week before? I have ~two months of vacation stashed so I'm thinking of taking a week off and chilling even though work isn't stressful at all.
Kinda sounds like a good idea but I don't want to get out of rhythm so I can't decide.

Honestly I'd only take time off if ur going to use it to study. If ur feeling good then don't take time off and just use that vacation to time to celebrate killing the last!sev wrote:For those of y'all that work/go to school full time, what are your plans for the week before? I've only ever woken up the day after a hangover and have a slight headache that some breakfast usually fixes, but never an actual hangover for 2 days lol

Has anyone taken PT 62 yet?
Just finished taking it, and wow. I did worse that usual in every section and still managed to get a 171, only a point below my PT average. The -14 scale was a lifesaver, but I can't even imagine how I'd feel if we had a test this exhausting. I'm not sure if it is better or worse than a -8 scale

I don't have the days sadly to take anything more than a day off :/ my boss is super ecstatic about the lsat so she's pushing me to take the day before off, which is great bc I'm gonna wanna catch up on sleep. I'm super jealous of your two months!sev wrote:For those of y'all that work/go to school full time, what are your plans for the week before? Was going to take this tomorrow, actually. What did you find difficult about it?Anon-e-miss wrote:Has anyone taken PT 62 yet?

Re: The Official September 2017 Study Group
hey y'all. been a while since I checked in here because it was making me anxious more often than not.
scored a 173 on pt 67 last night, my highest score yet. this was after two weeks only reviewing assumption questions (my most difficult LR question type). I most often get a 172, lowest 169, so I'm not celebrating yet. did a five-section test (added a LR section from 61) and somehow managed to go -0 on that particular section. others were -1 LG, -1 -3 LR, -2 RC. I feel like I should be doing better on RC but I haven't studied it at all. does anyone have a good quick guide to RC?

You're in a good spot if that's where you're scoring without studying on RC. Probably don't need to go through an entire book on RC. I would recommend the section on RC in The LSAT Trainer. Has some good general guidance that helped me a lot.littlelibertine wrote:hey y'all. been a while since I checked in here because it was making me anxious more often than not.

I'm doing okay on RC. I always score between a -2 and a -4, which is why I'm not super worried about it -- but if there's a fairly simple way to get an extra point or two on RC, it'd be helpful.

I struggled with time on RC and only had 1 minute left to check over tough questions (I usually have 4-7 minutes to do so) so that may have cost me a question or even two.presidentspivey wrote:Was going to take this tomorrow, actually. LR felt slightly trickier than usual.
One of the games was pretty weird. I did fine on it, but it took me a couple of minutes to really understand the rules, so I fell behind on time and got a couple of questions wrong that I could definitely have solved had that not slowed me down.
Don't read if you care about my spoiling the order of the sections on the test ETA: Curious how it ended up going for you!

Took PT 68 and got a (-1) on RC, which at least for me, is a victory. But sadly got the more wrong on LR that I usually do. Oh wellllll - hoping this month we have left is enough time to push a couple more points into 173+ territory.
