I like your idea of alternating the drilling days with 2LR one LG and 2RC one LR.

Right now I PT twice a week and don't do anything LSAT related on Sundays.
Latest range of 5 PTs has been from 170-180. RC can really screw me so I'm working on that at the moment.

Recent Range:
LR -0 to -3 combined
LG -0 to -2
RC -2 to -6!(I hate you PT 67, you are the bane of my sinful existence)

Do you guys have any tips on how you approach particularly difficult RC passages?
Seems like we both have a pretty wide range in our last PT's. How do you plan on tackling it? Just keep plugging away at weaknesses? Personally, I started to do much worse when I tried to get fancy and underline and shit. I saw my score normalize to -2/3 by just reading the passage slowly and attentively without 0 notes/underlines. I have wider variability when trying to notate for some reason.

You are another breed, damn. I would not have that kind of stamina. Keep at it, it'll pay off.

Gotta catch up to you somehow. There is nothing like bad scores and the TLS carrot on a stick to instill a work ethic.

PT 58!

I took this test Tuesday evening after working all day. I started at 5:30pm and ended around 8:30pm.

Score= 170!

LG: 0
R1: 23/26 -3
R1: 23/25 -2
RC: 21/27 -6 :(

I really need to study RC and practice it. It is keeping me down. I scored really well with LG and LR in PT 58.

I will take PT 59 on sunday and then review it. During the week I will study RC and take PT 60 on Thursday night.

Any tips with RC?
Start treating most RC questions as "must be true" questions. I started drilling full RC questions and really doing serious review on them and it helped a ton

Took PT 62. Honestly thought I bombed it bc I didn't finish LG but the insane -14 curve saved me. Two killer games that took 10-12 mins each and the fact that I spent more time than I should have on the first one made me skip all but two questions on the last game. RC was also decently hard. Worst score I've gotten on that so far. Easy-ish LR except for one question in the first section that I still don't understand.

RC: -4
LR: -2
LG: -4 (shit)
LR2:-2

172

I have taken 3 PTs in the last week and a half. 172 on all of them. Next PT on Monday.

That score consistency has got to feel good. I have a PT to score tonight. I am kind of dreading it.

I mean yeah it feels good but it's also nervewracking bc people usually average a 3 point drop on test day. So if I'm going into June with a 172 average that will be a cause for concern considering 170+ is a must.

Congrats on the score, I wouldn't fret too much. Test day drops happen, but so do test day surprises. Just be strict w/ timing and that's about all you can do, except keep a calm head on test day.

Hmm, don't sweat it man. Just review and see what went wrong, you'll bounce back.

Took PT 75 yesterday, got 170. Honestly was feeling pretty good during the test and thought I'd do better, but the score was very unforgiving. Realizing that I can actually slow down -- I feel like in recent tests, I've been really stressed and have felt like I don't have enough time, so I rush through it and end up with like ~5 minutes left in each section. Taking it a bit slower seems to help.

LR: -2
RC: -4 (ugh)
LR: -2
LG: -2 (the last two games confused me. The third game, thought I saw a deduction where I could place one of the letters in a guaranteed spot, but realized near the end of the game that it could actually be another player too, so I quickly redid the game but still missed one. The last game, must have read the language wrong and it still bothers me... the whole "feature" thing has got me messed up. Hopefully the June LSAT is a little less tricky in terms of language).

It was really across the board. Went -5 in RC and went -9 total in LR. I went -2 in LG which was mostly a timing issue so I'm not too concerned about that

It happens. Don't let that panic set in, I've had nightmares about opening my score after the June test to see a 160-something after a bad pt. Just kick ass the next time.

Yes. Then you calculate your "shoulda been" score. Turns out I've been scoring 178-180 this whole time!
