Yeah I definitely think it's the smart move, part of me just doesn't want to spend six more months studying for the damn thing lol. Since I'm not applying this cycle, have a light course load this spring and am taking a gap year I don't really have any excuses not to postpone and go all out for June though..Mikey wrote:If you're not applying until next cycle then I don't see how taking in June and giving yourself more time can hurtblackmamba8 wrote:Currently registered for February but debating whether I should postpone until June... It's my last take so I'm stressing
You're in a similar situation as me aren't you?

Shit that sucks haha. I only have 2 required classes left so I picked up 2 easy 100 level classes to put me at my school's minimum # of credit hours to be considered a "full-time student" lol.Mikey wrote:yeah lol, literally the same position as you, except I don't have a light course load next semester hahablackmamba8 wrote:Yeah I definitely think it's the smart move, part of me just doesn't want to spend six more months studying for the damn thing lol. Decided to pass on February and go with June. Good luck everyone! I'm going to take the next two weeks off for finals and start back up over Christmas break.

Re: The Official June 2017 Study Group
Checking in.
Spent the last few months beginning my prep, slowly. Been using 7Sage, Powerscore books, and self-study methods. Finding it hard to stay focused (ADHD), but otherwise I've been doing pretty well thus far. PTing games average around -2, LR averaging around -5, haven't started PTing RC but this is my best subject within the test. I will most likely start full PTs after the new year. Though I won't be applying to Law school anytime soon, I wanted to get the test over with before I start my Teach for America commitment. Look forward to enjoying the chaos with all of y'all!

Re: The Official June 2017 Study Group
Just decided to apply to law school two weeks ago, so I know way less than everyone here, but I am super amped to do well on this test. I need to get in the high 170s, though, and I'm hoping I can do it in six months, on my first shot. Else, I'll have to take the test in October and I don't want to get my application in late.
I don't have much of a plan right now except to self-study from Dec-Feb (study materials, tests, etc) and then consider blueprint help from march to June. I'd take their classes earlier but they're only available in March. Thoughts?

I'm not sure you'd need the class if it's not available until March and you're self-studying Dec-Feb. That should be plenty of time to develop a solid understanding of the test and start drilling/PTing.bns212 wrote:Just decided to apply to law school two weeks ago, so I know way less than everyone here, but I am super amped to do well on this test. Blueprint has a pretty awesome online course imo. As someone who also recently decided to apply to law school, I've found it pretty helpful. You could def just do the online course and just drill March-Junebns212 wrote:Just decided to apply to law school two weeks ago, so I know way less than everyone here, but I am super amped to do well on this test. Still have to purchase PT77, and of course December's whenever it comes out.

Yeah my thinking was: develop a solid understanding, use the course for tricks/extra push, but I do think it makes sense to learn the techniques beforehand. Someone pointed me to the online course, so I'll be taking that instead..blackmamba8 wrote:I'm not sure you'd need the class if it's not available until March and you're self-studying Dec-Feb.
